Espn wants to be the one announcing CJG to Tennessee on MNF. In return they will release CJG from the balance of his broadcasts. Then UT will offically announce the hire on Nov. 30. This would be good for both sides. CJG then could get to recruiting. Therefore smoke and denials till then. Makes sense to me.

I thought this thread was fueled by 6-10 posters with direct inside contacts. It may be true but we'll see after it plays out. Credibility at stake except my friend Skeeter

So what happens when Gruden is announced tomorrow? these radio guys are going to have to stay they were in on it? We are watching the Gruden hire work step by step.

When and a big if this happens, I will still trust the OGs. Their track records have been solid, however they can't control last minute deal breakers. They only provide us with info as they get it.

Think about this for a second. Say you were buying your kid a car for Christmas. Something early 2000s kind of nice starter car. Then people started telling your child they were getting a 2014 Lexus. Your child starts to believe that is it.

How fast would you squash that rumor?

How much more anger would Hart be met with if we get a beater (Golden) instead of the Rolls Royce (Gruden)?

This is what I believe is happening as well....Gruden will wrap up Monday.

Have some of you even read what has been written in here. Things are and have been going almost exactly as how it was explained to us they would. Stop being reactionary and looking for a reason for UT to not succeed.
Misdirection and smoke and mirrors because most people are so erratic and like good sheep and lemmings couldn't find out the truth if it hit them square in the face.
Get ready for the circus and the huge steroid shot to this program called Gruden.

So today...

Media says Gruden is a longshot or not gonna happen.

Insiders here that are close to Boosters still solid on Gruden.

This hasn't changed much in the past month...

Guys, Hart can't be dumb enough to let the fan base believe we are getting Gruden, then we don't and everyone already hates the new coach. HE HAS TO GET THIS DONE.

The only possibility that caused this fall through is Texas losing last night and throwing a wrench in the process by deciding to force out Brown. If that is the case and Gruden is interested in TX, then Hart should be fired for dragging this process out past the MSU game, and not getting this in place sooner.

Didn't you know that top tier coaches just started magically appearing in your office after you declared the job to be open? All Hart has to do is show them where to sign.
