I find it insane to say that Jimmy Cheek is a hold up!!! My God, Gruden will pay his salary! If he was in the way, he would be removed. PERIOD!!!

No Bruin I never said because my source has a skybox he is spot on, but I base it on the fact everything he has told me has come to happen.

I don't have a problem with anyone saying something is done "from what they hear" but it sure is a problem when someone says on Friday 100% then says 50% on Monday??... and I am still on the gruden band wagon..

It seems to me Cheek may be the issue... and if so, that is a big hurdle and would make it 50-50 ... the posters may have not known this at the time.. who knows, I am going back and forth

Have faith. Gruden ain't the only good coach. It is obvious that there are some moneymen actually willing to get off their wads now. We just got to get Cheek the bookworm geek out the way.

Thanks to all the guys, who try and give most of us hope of better times and better coaches. If none of its happens ,at least for a few weeks I was excited about the direct of the program.

I'll never forget the first time I bought my first brand new car, I was 18 and just out of Basic Training. My dad went with me to help me find the best deal, I was looking for a certain type of car and had looked all day before finding a Demo model in my price range. My dad was literally pulling me out of the dealership while we was going through the Negotiations. the whole time I was telling my dad, "that's the car I want" and he told me to hush and come. Sure enough the salesman, and finally the manager was chasing us out the door with just a little better deal.

The Bottom line is calm down people, if it was meant to be it will, even if there was a verbal agreement, things happen when it is put on paper and lawyers get involved. and give the insiders a break if they waited for the ink to be dried before coming on here with info this would not be the same place.

I agree he ain't the only good coach.... however he is the only one I can think of that will help us recrruit with and play with LSU, Florida and especially Bama

I hope if he does not come...I am wrong... but don't think so... after living through 11 in a row against Bama just don't want to go back there

If Hart and Cheek are standing in the way of this hire then both need to be Fired immediately.
People will laugh but bring Fulmer in at AD. Guarantee he would not let this crap continue.
