Well, if he is, he is not doing a good job of it since he was the first NFL guy to actually give credence to the UT rumors?

I do think that he already knows the truth, one way or another.

Just b/c he's passing along info that contradicts what OV, Boro, Lex, et al have said doesn't make him any less reputable, it just makes him wrong.

I tend to believe the others over Larry this time b/c they have no ties each other, yet they've all been consistent with their info, independent from one another....but that doesn't make them right either.

I'm just enjoying the ride....:loco:

This is me, I keep hearing that date but am not 100% on it. Very confident something will be announced SECCG weekend, but the exact date and the type of announcement seems to be up in the air. I am cool with a press release with a PC at a later date. Just make it official!

Question is this LWS a County Commissioner for Knoxville? He is an uber fan and a booster. I remember him winning a fan of the game contest at a basketball game telling all the memorabilia he had. I remember I was kind of irritated because someone is rich doesn't make them a bigger fan. Just a fan that can afford more stuff. That would be my guess. I know he owns an insurance company.

From the little I know about Larry, I don't think he even lives in Knox County.

I agree. I am not buying the whole "announce on espn" theory at all.

That just flies in the face of decorum in these situations and gives the whole thing a "publicity stunt" type flavor.

Not just that, but I would think that Gruden himself would want to do it on campus at the podium. Traditionally speaking.

People are latching on to him b/c of his history as a reliable source of info and he's consistently shot down the "Grumors."
