Question is this LWS a County Commissioner for Knoxville? He is an uber fan and a booster. I remember him winning a fan of the game contest at a basketball game telling all the memorabilia he had. I remember I was kind of irritated because someone is rich doesn't make them a bigger fan. Just a fan that can afford more stuff. That would be my guess. I know he owns an insurance company.

The 30th announcement deal is making a lot of sense to me. This is a great PR/recruiting move for the team and also lets Gruden assemble his remaining staff before the new year, so they can be ready for January visits...

I understand but you really think mort is going to have the scoop on a booster or ad offering gruden a contract. I understand the whole espn thing. I just wouldnt put much into what mort says unless its a done deal or an nfl offer.

It is the biggest hire in the history of NCAA I think. Not even close. Gruden has become the face of the NFL to a large extent. He has a Super Bowl ring. Not even close on who is the biggest hire.
