Do you really think anyone could rain on a Gruden announcement?

If we announce Gruden, FL would be in an empty room.

Personally, if we have the alpha dog, I would want to announce first.

This all should have been done, in a few days, weeks ago with the signing on Sunday.

This is the only business to take care of for 24 hours if you are serious about the deal.

This isn't buying a house. This is a business deal, and not a very complicated one.

Two thoughts:

1) I believe Boro might know more about the coaching search than leading on. He sure seems to be more calm than most of us, and has had some cryptic posts.

2) My personal thought is IF we do have Gruden, Currie might be waiting to announce after Florida officially announces their Head Coach. Chip Kelly or someone else, either way Jon Gruden returning to coaching after a decade and coming to the college coaching club would drown just about any NCAAF story for an entire week.

LW over in Around-ncaa is showing evidence that an announcement is coming Thur 11:00.

Right or wrong, you are going to see this trend until a statement either way emerges from Gruden or Currie. As the silence grows, so will the doubts. Maybe the announcement will be soon.

Everyone relax wait for Currie to make his announcment. He knows this is a career defining moment for him I'm sure he is trying to reel Gruden or another great in. He said his search will be quick so we shouldnt have too much longer of waiting. Couple weeks at most IMO. Gruden till it's not!

If Currie announces today, Gruden as the new coach, no one would ever recognize if/when FL hires Kelley. It would be the biggest news of this college football year. Did the "Beav" mention something about ESPN getting the first scoop on the hire? Is Gruden scheduled for the M & M show tomorrow?

If we land an absolutely home run, this is good (I.e. Gruden, Urban, Saban...). Makes the East strong. If we don’t, this is a disaster for UT. Kelly would have been my #1 / #2 choice. Is this officially official?

Season ended last Saturday. Finished 5-5. He'll be fully recovered by the first of December.

The good news is he went from not dressing his first game, to special teams and scout team QB, to the starter, all in his freshman year. Can't wait for spring practice to get here.
