His following is small so he’s not trying to get the world to know. Imo, he’s letting us know that “he” has our back. He could represent the boosters, 1 specific booster, I don’t know. But he swings for the fences when going at em. He’s sending a message to “Vol Nation” as a whole. Not just this site IMO.

Yea, I’m pretty sure when it’s private only followers and the person twitted at can see it. So you would be correct.

Tell me this 92... why is Gruden to TN so unbelievable for the masses? People lay out the reasons but with with any amount of research you can see it’s not as far fetched as they’d lead us to believe.

People feel dumb for admitting that Gruden is a possibility. This is true for Vol fans and media, especially after 2012. I think that's the primary reason they SAY it's unbelievable.

But many more people believe than are willing to admit they believe.

Here's an analogy. Last year, you asked the high school babe to prom. She turned you down. Now, this year, you've been talking to her again. Her friends are telling you she's really interested. But despite the facts and the growing optimism, you're hesitant because to be burned a second time would be exponentially more painful, and make you look dumber.

There are a lot of guys following this thread daily. They believe it's going to happen, or at least there's a good chance. But they're not going to say it.

Soon... Been awhile since I've posted but read all the time. This has to be an all-star hire. Definitely if Florida is hiring Chip Kelly. He would be tough to compete against in recruiting without some one like Gruden. And I'm not saying Florida is hiring Kelly just seen that and it made me cringe a little. Go Vols. I think the fact Currie isn't using a search firm is the most telling part of the conference today. I did a little digging to see if he has a history of performing these searches on his own. We know UT has along history of using search firms for all of their big hires.

As it happens, Currie used a search for the men's basketball hire at KState.
