Jager in my coffee. Not a bad idea. Gotta work outside in a few and it's brisk out this a.m. Can't get caught up in reading these Gruden threads but I've read enough to think it's a done deal. If Mo. beats UT handily tonight, I'd like to think the AD may cut Butch loose Sunday morn. On the other hand if UT plays well or wins, Butch will coach against LSU. He'll coach last games but I think the AD is being considerate of the players. In all this there has to be some recruiting going on and word is CBJ isn't recruiting on twitter. If we have JG signed, why not announce it?

The program would be rock star (band) status.

Just the tought of Jon Gruden running through that T, would be sheer pandemonium.

I agree, who’s not going to want to play for that. UT would get a QB, multiple. Jon Gruden will recruit on name alone.

But it would be nice to be looking something like this again lined up.

Shuler (leaves for NFL)
Colquit (quickly injured but still NFL drafted)
Helton (athletic enough to do a thing or two in baseball)
4a Stewart
4b some guy named Manning

I think UT could get a lineup of great QB’s again. Jon Gruden could get UT there.

Unfortunately my mom stole your last three suggestions for 3 of her 4 Yorkies. There’s Neyland, Summitt, Peyton and Knox.

Even if Gruden were my son’s middle name instead of his first name, I still think that qualifies as using the Grude Lord Gruden’s name in vain, which I just can’t do. Unless somebody wants to call the Gruden Hotline and ask permission from our football savior himself.

Yup and I don’t see him stepping down. If Senior Day were not the very last game and we were already ineligible for a bowl then I could see a firing.

If we lose tonight thus becoming ineligible for a bowl he will stay for Senior Day unfortunately.
