Where have you been the last decade? "Wait until next year" has been the rallying cry. :cray:

Have fun at the game and stay warm!

I guess it has taken a LONG time to work out the good "feels" that the 1990's provided. I have always gone to games with an optimistic attitude thinking we had a chance to win, even with Dooley, Kiffin, and Jones leading us.

Just in the last few games it all changed. Simply put, I am almost dead inside to UT football as it relates losses. I don't feel sad anymore and almost expect to lose.

We have a coach that simply talks about keeping games close, just getting to the 4th quarter, talks about inferior competition like they are top 5 in the nation, etc..... I am over it, yet here I sit in Columbia, lol.

I guess I will ALWAYS support the players, but I need a new coach. One that will resuscitate our once proud program and FINALLY awaken the sleeping giant that IS Tennessee football! One that will restore my optimistic "I don't care who you are we are" winning attitude.

That coach is Jon Gruden. He is the only one that can instantly check those boxes for me. Go Vols!

what the **** did i do..

Don't worry, quietly gather your clothes, slowly open the door, and run like hell! Just remember to keep telling yourself once you have reached a safe place..."ugly fat chicks need loving too, ugly fat chicks need loving too"...it will get better with time...

I'm hardcore IF, but I'm really low carb paleo. I exercise enough though for that to keep me in ketosis.

My wife, son, and I went Paleo in 2010, with wonderful results, both body and brain-wise, all 'round.

I went keto a year and a half ago, and boy, did I hit a higher gear.

I next went zerocarb and things deepened and expanded even more. The longer I do it, the better EVERYTHING gets.
(Steak most nights is also Fun!)

JP,

I'm shocked you'd consider my assistance with anything after I bet all of your money that UT would play better against UGA than they played vs. UMass. :)

Plus, you know I would just argue with anyone over any idea that I didn't 100% agree with! :loco:

Hang in there Knuck. Hopefully it will work out if that's what you want. It will get better with time. Been there, done that.

My brain fires on ALL cylinders. God bless Mr. SFD.

Damn man, sorry to hear that. It was tough when my ex and I separated, but after it was all over we remained really good friends.

Hope everything works out for you.

Still friends with both of my exes. One left me and I left one. If you're not an a-hole, you can make it work. I hope for the best for them. You will soon realize you are better off without them.

Great post. I never want UT to lose but it's getting harder and harder to watch this crap we're seeing. It's like the Wade Houston/ Kevin O'Neill eras of UT basketball. I went to some games but just didn't give 2 ish's.

Oh, that's where my money went?

I thought Charger was getting even.

Thank you, Boca. :ermm:

Good stuff right there Dr. Phil.

Had my wife ask John Foy/ friend that I wanted to know
when we were hiring Gruden? She said business associate we know
laughed and said tell Doug he’s only the 10th person asking that
question this week. She said John had a funny look on his face
and said Gruden has a cushy job right now and he didn’t understand why
he might want to come to UT.

He didn’t say no. Which he could have

I don't get the "Gruden has a cushy job" nonsense. People make it sound like Gruden doesn't have to put in any work, just show up. The idea that Gruden doesn't hunger for bigger challenges and is content to sit on his butt and gab away for a nice paycheck is, quite frankly, a bit of an insult to him. Money can't quench the competitive fire of a guy like JG. There's a reason he's always keeping his eyes open for other job opportunities. He will eventually leave ESPN. The question is, will it be us? Maybe it won't, but keeping his "cushy job" won't be the reason.
