Sorry to hear about your separation Knuckle. Hoping things work out for the best for you.

Sitting in a hotel in Columbia MO, ready to support our players......thankful we only have a couple of more games (at most) to follow with Butch at the helm.

It truly is an odd feeling to have so much more excitement for the future than the present. Go Vols!

Gruden has signed but they won't tell us so until they do it's a free for all. Heck get to know your fellow Vols before they announce cause this site likely to crash and burn when the news breaks.

Glad to see you have high spirits knuck. Going through divorce myself as well. This place has deff helped me cope. Gruden threads are the best entertainment to help us get through.

Hearing a few Bull Gators complain. They think Florida made overtures and was rebuffed by Gruden. They can't believe he chose UT over UF. I am still in a I'll see it when I believe it mode.

Yep, just like game day threads are in the FF now. They scroll by too fast to have any hope of a conversation, just become a bunch of Vols fans shouting into the internet void.

This thread will definitely go that way at least for several hours, if not days, after the announcement.

What a nightmare I had last night! I was in a strip club looking around the smokey room and I saw this giant featherless turkey, wearing a Miley Cyrus mask, giving a lab dance to a equally giant beaver who was sipping a glass of scotch, smoking a huge cigar and wearing golf shoes. And the beaver kept saying over and over "SOON!". That ambien is some good stuff.

Just had a thought: would be cool to have a fall-back thread so this community can keep communicating through the hysteria. Like a pre-planned back-up thread name "GFP" (Gruden for President) or something. Anything we can all easily remember and recognize. SFD or Boca could be in charge of initiating it at the appropriate time. The rest of us just keep an eye out for it.

Then, while the larger community is going nuts all over Official Jon Gruden Thread 31 (or 32 or 34), we can be talking in the alternate thread. Come back to the Official series when it settles down. :)
