It would be sooooo Tennessee to hire a guy like Fisher, zero demonstrated ability to recruit or evaluate talent at the collegiate level which is one of the MUST have skills a college HC must have. Couple that with, do you honestly see or hear anybody beating down his door to coach their team? It was like when PF was done on The Hill, top job offers just did not come his way, Fisher is in that same category IMO.

Saban is a maniac. But he is like the guy with a perfect lawn who looks for every sign of damage and weeds and aggressively corrects it. He knows that complacency leads to mediocrity which leads to failure.

UT used to have standards. We fired a coach for losing 3 games, then wanted to keep a coach who only won 3.

Sir, sir I repeat we have the brush 🔥 contained their has been a lull in the weather pattern. It looks that we have an opportunity to finally put this perpetual brush 🔥🚒 to rest. Yes, yes sir I know I've been fighting it for 15 yrs. Let's just hope they finally get this right before the wind starts 🍃 blowing again.

Uninformed? You can make excuses and rationalize WHY he’s career .500, but at the end of the day you are what your record says you are. I don’t know what message or credibility a past-his-prime NFL coach that is getting consideration by exactly zero NFL teams brings to a 17 year olds door. I like him JF, he seems like a good dude and I always appreciated how his teams competed, but dude is not the guy for a major college program.

In my opinion Freeze, and Kiffin are out due to past issues. Malzahn is out, due to Steeles involvement. I’d say Herman, Chadwell or Napier will be in play.

I would like to see Raheem Morris get a look. Good coach, seems to really get a lot out of players. Defensive success is documented, think he could be a home run.
