Any tips? I just rented this game and am a bit clueless but I'm sure I will figure it out.

I guess it will just take some time. It's very confusing so far as to exactly what to do.

You have 1 main target in each district of each city.
You unlock other districts by progressing through the game.
For each target you need to gather information on. To do so you need to climb a View Point to find someone with information. Someone with info will be shown on your map with an icon depending on how to get the info. Interrogation,Eavesdrop, Pickpocket, & friendly Informer.

You usually need a minimum of 3-4 out 6 pieces of info before you can assassinate your target.
Pause the game & look at the top right to see your objectives.

With time you will understand what to do. I didn't know anything my first couple of days.

guys my son has the xbox360 and I never thought to rent games, I always buy him games. I brought him 4 for Christmas, Assas Creed being one of them, and ya'll know they are not cheap.
Can you play any game on Xbox live or do you have to own it to play. I'm not to sure how this whole live thing works.

It doesn't matter if you rent or own...you can play online...but some games do not have an online multiplayer like Assassins Creed.

Well I finally beat it.
Not having Volkano nagging me to play CoD4 like a housewife gave me enough time to finish.:p

Not the way I'm gonna do it.

As soon as I get to a city I'm starting at flag 1 & go numerically from there so I don't get screwed up trying to figure out if I have gotten this flag or that flag already like I did my first time through. It will take a while but I'll find them or my name isn't Buford T. Justice.

You playing this owb? I played for about an hour and a half last night but I'm really not sure what I'm doing still. I've realized that I need to get to all of the lookout towers but otherwise I'm not sure if it's best to kill everyone or sneak past them. I know you have to kill the....crap the name escapes me....the guys with the red hats. Other than that I don't really know what to do. Hopefully it will come to me.

The guys with the red hats? The Templars? Kill only the 60 Templars that attack you on sight. As for guards it's probably best to just kill the Archers(the guards on the rooftops) They're easy. Either throw a knife from a distance, or sneak up behind them & shove your hidden blade into their back. Never just run up & start swinging your sword, that's nothing trouble for you. The hidden blade is your best friend. Really the only time you should be in an all out sword fight is just after you've killed a main target or saved a citizen. Anything else just ask. I made this game my biotch.:p

I like to fight anyone that looks at me strange on this game. I get tired of "blending", especially when I'm on the horse. I've found it's just as quick to kill the guards as it is to avoid them.

I've killed 3 of the main targets so far and I've picked up flags here and there, but I know I'm not getting them all. I guess I'll have to print something out and get all of them from here on out.

Oh, and I really wish you could at least do an online co-op on this game. That would be sweet.

I just went to a site that claimed to have maps for all the flags and it set my security off. Trojan downloader. :realmad:

My sister got me this for Christmas, and i've been hooked, other than working today and going over last second details of my wedding tomorrow. Good game, fun, though the Lab scenes are annoying, they don't add much to the game (to this point) I just did the 1st pickpocket in Acre, and am having a good time. Now, to the Hospital to kill that guy!
