Yeah after reading reviews on K&L Dead Men and then watching the Ass Creed vids. I had to change my mind.

The reviewers said the first hour of play is amazing, but then it all goes downhill from there. They also said the end of the story really sucks bad.

Play some more - then tell me if I should buy it or CoD4. I will have to wait for Christmas for the other if I want to get both. CoD4 makes more sense long term I guess but I haven't played AC yet.

I just got back from Game Stop with AC in hand. I got the very last copy they had. I'm lucky.

I'm taking a break right now to eat some dinner.

You really need to experience it yourself. I just can't explain it. I'm only about 2 hours in but so far I'm loving it.

Ugh - I don't know what to get... I've rented CoD4 and love it.. but I can only get 1 of the 2 and get the other for Christmas.

CoD4 seems like the better long investment since AC doesn't have online play... I'm just not sure how fun it would be or what you would do after you beat AC.

Ah. Well without spoiling anything, when you do get to Acre watch out for the retarded people....seriously. You'll know it when you find one. They just walk up to you & smack you in the head for no good reason at all. It's not a fight, they just smack you in the head & walk off. Pisses me off.:crazy:

I'm also having a lot of fun assassinating guards. Who doesn't?:p

It's really unbelievable that you can basically interact with every building. After every objective completion I jump to the map pick a new, and head to the roof tops. :ninja:

They're for assassinating certain people. I have one for Damascus & one for Acre right now. They are the first targets.

I love this game! I've only had about 2 hours with it, but plan on more this afternoon. I just got to Damascus this morning and it is beautiful.

I haven't played it yet, but the reviews that don't like basically say this: "Go to town, climb highest building, find target, execute, then repeat...over and over and over and over and over."

I'll rent it at some point. No point buying the thing with no lasting online component and gameplay that sounds like something that will bore me quickly.
