It's not an issue at Georgia because there is no lack of depth. Depth has been used as an excuse here going on two years now. You can spin it any way you would like, but its gonna be an issue if the trend continues. We're not talking about players that are or should be redshirting. These are guys that have played. This should shut you geniuses up. GA has lost 10 players from the 2013 class in one year. I just added it up. Their program is way better than ours currently and has had way more success the last five years. Again I compared the 2013 recruiting class to what was listed on their roster this year. So in one year, they lost 10 recruits/ freshmen. They are not freaking because they know that it is normal. We have been so far away from normal that we don't know what normal is like. Guys step away from the ledge and relax.
Don't believe me, go and count it yourself.
What's the number of players and names of those that have left as a fact right now? When I have more facts I'll make my assessment. I'm not gonna spin an assessment on someone's already spun assessment on something that might not even be spinning. It's not an issue at Georgia because there is no lack of depth. Somewhere Riley Furgeson is thinking about his decision to transfer. . . therefore, it doesnt always mean they are so awesome they want to start somewhere else. Sometimes, they see that they are not as good as their star rating was in HS and will not get much starting time.
If it were the numbers that only mattered it would be a different story. Just because there are numbers does not mean it equals depth. You do know what it means when someone states that "we lack depth" right? You're my point. Relax.
You realize that if we average 21 per graduating class that we will have 84, one less than the allowed 85. I say this to show you that we can lose 11 signees from this past years class and we will have that magic number of 21. Relax, depth won't come in one year, but over four years it will come.
We didn't have depth with Dooley and kiffin because their classes had way less than 21 left for the senior class.
Not sure what that means, but when you start making my donations and buying my season tickets for me you'll have the right to tell me to relax. What? Because I made a counter to your point I'm tense?

Obviously your getting me confused with someone else. Unless you have your panties in a wad because I called you out when you started complaining about "trolls" and "negavols" constantly. But I'm not gonna get into a pissing match with you about something that is off topic. No, it's probably because you wear your heart on your sleeve and run around on here like your on fire when most if not all the facts have surfaced. Then invent, spin, and add poor info to a theory that the sky is falling. It gets monotonous.
If your not worried about it then why are you involved in the thread?I guess you need a I'm sorry that you donate and worry like a little girl about what all normal programs go through.
I feel for people that worry about something that does not matter. I don't worry, that's why we pay Jones a lot of money.

There is no doubt that programs go through a phase of attrition with classes. Most of the time it's because of lack of playing, redshirt possibilities, buried on the depth chart, academics, injuries etc. Rarely do you see possibly five 4* guys that have played and are projected to have prominent roles on the depth chart transfer out. You lose a guy or two that has redshirted or just has not panned out its no big deal. Its not really hurting your "depth".
When your talking about depth, its not about numbers, its about the quality of the player behind the starters.
The sky is not falling and I never said it was. I simply made a counter point to your use of Georgia as an example.
Normal for me. We called it Hell's circle in high school. One person in the middle doing fast feet, coach would call out a jersey number and whoever had that number charged. Hopefully you got spun around in time to see who was coming and get set to take a hit...or if you were quick enough, offer your own punishment.
I bet Hurd absolutely loves this drill.
It is normal that players leave. It is normal that Fr leave. It is NOT normal that Fr contributors with apparent bright futures within the program leave by the half dozens.I guess you need a I'm sorry that you donate and worry like a little girl about what all normal programs go through.

Only if it's worse than the attrition other teams are facing. I'm not sure why people acting surprised that some players are going to be lost from a class of 34.
