Offense is missing much more than a top level QB

Then why have our running backs not had any success? Grays had a handful of 100 yard games. Other than that, where’s the success over the past 3 seasons? Both Rbs were clearly better on the perimeter yet we stayed running between the tackles. How is that productive? It’s insane is what it is.
because we either run...or pass. not much play action, nothing to TEs, and nothing quick. this allows easy reads for lbs to help in pass coverage. same reason the dump off to the rb is open a lot when they arent in pass pro. but then teams blitz, putting them in passpro and eliminating them as a receiver. this is where their size comes in as a negative because then they are not big enough to block LBs long enough for chaney's pass plays to develop. not much help when the OL doesnt do their job either.

Finally we agree on something. We need bigger backs to run this offense......And a better OL, better TEs, and a Qb that knows what a hot read is and how to throw it would help tremendously. Our little backs going down on first contact doesn’t help either. Ironically The only back i saw breaking tackles between the tackles was Jabari Small. Wish he had got more opportunities cuz he ran like his hair was on fire.
