quiting raining on this big orange parade! Two ways to look at it. He could have also signed with GA and they got wind that Neids made contact which would be a violation. If Ga did not know he had signed then they would also not know that he committed a violation since contact is permissible providing he has not signed and it was not in person.
It’s not a violation if there was no knowledge of him signing elsewhere. Sounds like Georgia was upset that Nieds contacted him during a no contact period. I think that could be good news for us. Only way he would contact him during a no contact period is if he’s a committed player. All of this still has a lot of wiggle room though. So he signed with UGA...Nieds thinks he is unsigned contacts him and we get turned in for violation?
From earlier today...
“The Vols are still swinging and have still been in contact. The Vols are playing this one close and I don’t blame them. Either way it’s not worth messing up by putting out information.” -Price
So if we’re still in contact, and he’s signed, then....
