Nico to UCLA?

Yep, a horrible analysis. Urban Meyer is the only clown that agrees with him. When 99% disagree with you, you are generally wrong. Some people just don’t understand that concept and will keep posting foolishness.
Urban lives it, that's how he justifies recruiting and signing players who were morally bankrupt. Win at all cost, including integrity, morality, etc...

Urban's mission statement:
"I'm an absolute POS, but I can win a trophy."

I got a ask this question. Haven't heard anyone mention it.

So we let Nico walk because he wanted more money. We cheered, everyone said we did the right ect ...ect...ect.

But we gonna pay 4mil for another qb? How you gonna trash Nico when the guy you bring in is doing the same thing?

Who said the next guy was going to get 4 million?

What ever we pay. 2 mil. 4mil.

Was just a hypothetical. The point is, the next guy we bring in is probably chasing a bag also. Sure you might get some guy looking for playing time, but a lot of those guys in the portal are more likely looking to get paid.

1)bc we’re not paying 4 million
2)bc Nico was mediocre and not justifying his current salary.

Nico was under a contract, and he broke the contract, by not showing up for practice and the Orange and White game.

Either way, he chose to push Danny White and coach Hype into a corner.

You have a contract with your job. You see the same job that pays double, are you not going to entertain the idea of leaving?

Also, the guys we bring in, aren't they breaking their contract? Do they not have a contract with their school?

Nico didn't break his contract. He was leaving, and decided to not show up on his last day on the job.

I'm not hating Nico. I hate the nil system that incentives all of this.

This has been asked by multiple people across different threads.

He got dismissed from the team because he didn't show up for practice on the final day of spring practice, the day before a huge public event that he knew is important to the team and his university. He let his team, coach, the university, and the fans down. That is why he was removed from the team, not because of money.

And he wasn't worth 4 million.

For one ridiculous mediocre year.
That's what can happen when you "throw a bag" at 18 year old kids. At least the portal allows you more information to really assess the person/player. It's why I'd rather take the Ament money and put it on a couple of proven college players.

They chose to negotiate using the threat of harm to the program (leaving at the time that would screw us the hardest) versus using his accomplishments to date as evidence of increased worth. That isn’t someone you want around.
