Nick Saban hints at conflict with Kirby Smart, Jeremy Pruitt

i agree to some extent. But if their job is so rosy cozy, why would they leave to join first year coaches, especially to Tennessee?

In the case of Weinke, why stay under crybaby Satan when your career is moving upward (analyst to Position coach)?
A lot of these situations are coaches getting promotions. It sounds bad that Saban doesn't want people on his staff to get better jobs and advance.

Saban doesn't get it. People don't want to work for him because he's a jerk. When he went to LSU from Michigan State, he sent a plane back to Lansing to get his assistants--it came back empty. They stayed with Bobby Williams rather than move with Saban. You get good people and sometimes keep them when you treat people right and compensate them well. When you treat people like crap, they want out. The ONLY reason Saban gets good coaches is they want it on their resumes.

Life is just so unfair if you're Nick Saban.

Your greedy assistants look for promotions elsewhere.
Your rival coach called a play that confused you and you didn't get 2 opportunities to substitute.
Some very mean teams play very fast and that should be against the rules since your defenses struggle more with that.

It's a rough life.

It's funny how a man that is so successful yet lets small stuff get under his skin. His attention to detail is one of his secrets to success but is also a thorn when he CAN'T control the whole situation. It's sad that he doesn't seem to enjoy his blessings, always working harder to improve chasing perfection. This personality that continually drives him is what creates such success without ever being satisfied. He's not retiring soon.

Nick needs to retire---his act is getting old and his players aren't buying it anymore. The man has millions---head to his beach mansion down in florida and party and play golf nonstop.

Tbh, I really don’t think you can put Saban in the same sentence as “party”. It’s just...idk, a contradiction in terms. 😁

You may want to read it again. He clearly calls out Tennessee and Georgia by name.

"It’s one thing that I always try to emphasize to the guys: what I have a tough time with, aight, is we’ve had however many guys who have worked here who are at Georgia, Tennessee -- whoever, wherever -- is when they get those jobs, and in most cases you’ve helped them, is they have a hard time understanding why they can’t take your people.”

Interesting insight into how thinking that he says "your people" like he owns them. He doesn't own them and they are not his people if they really don't want to be there.

So, I’m guessing this came up because Gomer Piles interview didn’t go well?

And btw, don’t let this distract you from a “inferior coach” coming in and beat them, again, to save his job. All that jawing about Bo Nix and he beat them
In his house in their super bowl. The Iron Bowl.

Who did Pruitt even take from Bama?

The only person on the 2017 staff that is now on Tennessee's is Ansley, and he left for the NFL in 2018, before coming back to college. That makes it seem even more ridiculous. You can't claim "dibs" on someone who left for another job, and then decided to go to a rival a year later.

Billy and Nicky. Two of the most unethical coaches, biggest cheaters and crybabies ever.
Pretty sure I won’t be tuning into their show tonight.
Latest NFL News: Patriots Cheating Agian.
Must be what made Bill stand out among Nick’s mentors. Taught him how to cheat better than the competition!
But once you make a deal with the devil, you owe him forever
