Agreed. He didn’t take Ansley from Nick, he took him from Gruden with the Raiders. He brought Neids with him but I don’t even think Neids was a position coach under Saban, I think he was just an analyst iirc. I think JP also got his director of player personnel or something like that from Alabama, but I’m not aware of any actual coaches he poached from Bama. Don't think the criticism for Pruitt is fair here.

What coaches has Kirby poached? Was the original target GA, and Saban just took the opportunity to throw UT under the bus knowing nobody will fact check him

Based on the majority of the posts on this string, I guess most feel Pruitt is going to post a W against BAMA (TSO) NEXT season? For all those wanting Saban to retire, I hope he does not, beating him for three or four years in a row, prior to that would be nice. If he retired now, he'd be retiring having beat the crap out of us year after year, and would be able to say, "If I hadn't retired, I'd have beaten them last year too".

Saban is just a whiner lately. I used to at least respect him, now he looks like a baby. Gus did a bad formation, Pruitt took a coach who already left me a year earlier...grow up Saban.

Don’t forget VN....this is the vaunted Crimson Tide Saban is coaching. I’ve been around them for over 60 years and you can change the HC all you want but the operative word is ALWAYS we “deserve” to win. They all truly believe that. I have no clue where that mass delusion came/comes from but it’s there. Saban is simply reflecting on this in the article.

The only person on the 2017 staff that is now on Tennessee's is Ansley, and he left for the NFL in 2018, before coming back to college. That makes it seem even more ridiculous. You can't claim "dibs" on someone who left for another job, and then decided to go to a rival a year later.
