I don't think they're going to try in come in and change everything that has been established here for a long rims, but they are going to do some tweaks to modernize everything and make us look like a nike branded school.

The funny part is that I doubt 20% of those griping would even recognize what this wordmark is actually replacing.

I figured it was simply replacing the block "TENNESSEE". It's the picture of a basketball court that makes me suspect that.

This place is about as stable as uranium. It reminds me of:

Bray's attitude stinks, put in Worley because he's a VFL. Thank goodness Bray is gone!

Then, Worley sucks...put in Peterman. Yeah, Peterman is starting vs. UF...BUTCH GETS IT!

Then, WTF was Butch thinking starting Peterman? We would have won with Worley.

Then, Wow...look at what Dobbs brings to the table...but he can't beat Vandy and he overthrows everyone...Bring back Worley!

Then, Worley is our man!...would have beaten UGA had he not gotten hurt.

Then, IF Butch had only replaced Worley with Dobbs we would have beaten UF!

Now, Dobbs for Heisman....until he overthrows his 1st receiver. Thank goodness we have several backup options to choose from to start this mess ALL over again.

Back on topic....yes, everyone wanted Nike...Now people aren't happy with it. Go figure.

Honestly, some people can't be happy no matter what you do. I hope we have 800 uniforms and different helmets just so it pisses most off and they quit following the vols so I don't have to hear them complaining 247. IMO, tennessee is more than a font, color, or logo. It's who we are, where we are from. Representing us is what matters. Giving their all for tennessee. If they let a 3 yr old draw the font I would still cheer for vols. Who cares! Nike knows what they're doing and we will be fine. This will help with recruiting and marketing. We will have sweet alternate uniforms finally. Can't wait!!! Just win baby. GO VOLS!!!!!

I think you are right. When Ford or Chevy change the headlights or grills people don't like at first but then a few years later when they are changing people are upset again.

If they use it, they owe my 8 year old son some money. He drew it 90% identical two years ago when he was 6. Just a class pic for fun. Glad to see art majors and designers can compete with a [then] first grader though.

My personal opinion mirrors many others.... Meh.

Looks somewhat similar to LSU's font used on this Nike shirt.

And everyone still wants Nike. But many don't like the wordmark. Simple fact... without the drama.
