From the TOS:

"I don't know if this is official yet or not....one of the premium sites still says Dooley has to give the OK."

"Just checked ESPN and they give him a prospect grade of 45 meaning that they have received his film but have not yet finished evaluating it."

Why is that? Not enough stars for you?

i don't know about stars or anything like that, but all i know is that florida has no interest in the kid.

they don't need too many d-lineman in this year's class either.

they signed 4 or 5 last year and have 1 committed this year already.

yep. They got some damn good ones too last year. Two of the best.

i don't think you are going to have to worry about florida trying to sign this kid.
You "johnny come lately" gator fans, rarely say anything intelligent. Yes, you are a "johnny come lately" because prior to Spurrier(aTennessee native) Florida was mentioned just above Kentucky and Vanderbilt when Football was the subject. And a bunch of you are on a bandwagon ready to jump ship whenever a storm comes in. By the way can you answer this trivia question? Only one team in the SEC has NEVER had an unbeaten season? Oh and I'll give you a hint: It is not Vanderbilt.

Oh yeah, and thanks for letting me know that Urban's not coming after this kid, I'll be able sleep at night knowing we have a chance for this guy. I'm so afraid of you "Gators".

it doesn't matter if you are afraid or not.

johnny come lately has won 18 of the last 24 (soon to be 19 of the last 25)

Oregon and Michigan State are his only respectable offers. some of you need to quit patronizing his offer list.

i think that if we are in a position to bring in a few more talent players at the end, you will see some of our earlier commits be encouraged to look elsewhere. this guy, power, and harris strike me as such.

BearBryant, I hate to say it, but Florida has man-handled us for the last 20 years. It is sad but true.

I think jmoore' scenario is much more likely for this kid. Kind of reminds me of Schofield. No one knew he existed either until he showed up and showed out at UT's camp.

I doubt Power gets told to look elsewhere simply because Tennessee has to have TEs.

hypothetically, lets say we do land Clear on top of Downs. still take him if we can get more talent players at other positions?

or, add Clear, Downs, and then someone we dont know yet. still take him?

Yeah.

Clear will eventually be a tackle. A redshirt year for Downs would really help him out.

It's not like Tennessee is in a scholarship crunch.

Which is why we are more willing to take some risks on lower rated kids at this point. There are several people who believe that this kid will be a 4* by years end, if he produces well his senior year. This is a hole plugging class this year, and some people are not going to accept that fact at all. I want elite talent, but Dooley has to get a season under his belt before the elite talent can evaluate his coaching staff.

Will his commitment be accepted by CDD? As of yet, looks like it has not if he really did commit.
