This is were this site is kinda like being in middle school sometimes. Being a 3 star ESPECIALLY FOR OFFENSIVE LINEMAN (which is usually a development position) see our All SEC OL Wiesman..,is NOT a bad thing. Occasionally you'll have a 5 star OL than can jump in and start. BUT THATS NOT THE NORM. 3 star OL are perfectly ok. Look at his size and realize he can become a behemoth in time. Whew,,,my aching back.,,

For those that don't know Butch's philosophy on Olinemen is it is a developmental position. He brings them up together as a line and by the time they are a few years in they are world beaters. He is THE BEST I've ever seen at developing talent.

Welcome to volhood Mr. Locklear!

Tusk bama or whatever your name is, quit trying to stir up the pot. We all know Bama has bought them a great team with Saban and your cheating ways. Between Bama and Auburn, more money has been passed on to recruits hands than every other school in the country. You should have been given the death penalty long ago.

Well said,I agree completely. A few years ago we had to try and find freshmen starters on the line. Now they can get get guys and let them work out and and learn the system like linemen are supposed to.

Welcome, welcome, welcome Mister Locklear. You've just committed to not only a great program and university, but also to a head coach and staff who're going to guide you to a long and lucrative life as a greatly developed offensive lineman. Oh. Don't mind the fades of this world. They've just got the wups. That's wadded up panties syndrome.

I LOVE recruiting services. He's rated the 73rd best offensive tackle by one of them. He's not the 54th rated tackle, or the 71st, or the 89th--nope, he's solidly in that 73rd spot and also CLEARLY the 667th rated high-school footballer in the country. After watching video, I had him at #581, but I'm not the expert.

I realize three stars can become stars in the sec, but you will never win a championship if they compose the majority of your roster. This trend can not continue if championships are our goal. Nothing against this particular individual but this three star thing is becoming a habit. Starting to remind me of when we tried to justify Dooley's recruits. I love and appreciate what Butch has done so far with this program. He has put in work. Still, however; if we are going to continue to achieve our goals this trend simply cannot become the status quo for our recruiting efforts. Does anyone actually have a solid idea as to why we are taking such a significant dip? Still tickled pink with the strides we have made, but I am starting to feel concern. It just tis what it is.
