Nasty ... that is the first word that comes to mind when describing Locklear. He fires off the ball well and plays with a low pad level, but he finishes blocks well and is extremely physical. He is able to stay under the defensive player, and once he engages and drives his legs, the play is over for the defender. Locklear has quick feet and gets to the second level well. He plays fast and locates defenders in space well when pulling, but he needs to maintain his body control at times. Locklear is also good is pass protection and his initial punch is very good, but he still needs to refine his pass protection technique and not reach.
