I would bet 3/5 (or worse) 5star players flip-flop at least once in their "careers", with the team-hoppers becoming the norm as well.
3* players, imho, are the sweet spot for talent and coachability. Any higher, and they're too flakey and proned to monetary temptations. Any lower and they probably lack the anatomical primordial soup to develop into D-1 footballers. But idk...

Ok so an ESPN 3* and 4* composite. Duly noted.

Stand by every word in my post. Not a single poster on this board knows how good this kid is gonna be in college...and the best QBs in the NFL right now and historically were not 5* kids in HS. Crapping on a QB before he takes a single snap at UT is both asinine and something expected of SEC rival fans. Not our own. The whiny, bitchy Negavol portion of our fanbase is just annoying.

I give this kid a lot of credit coming in the year after Faizon. Very few would be willing to do so knowing they are probably 3years from ever getting a start at minimum. Shows patience and belief in himself.

In high school......at 220. Put 15-20 pounds on in the weight room and you have a linebacker under center.

Seriously, maybe the young man is a true dual threat who makes DBs remember they hit him and remember he threw it by them too.

Josh Allen comes to mind. I don't want to hit that big guy but I really don't want him beating me with arm either.

Edit: Josh Allen was a zero star in HS. JUCO to Wyoming. I'd forgotten that.

I would bet there's a 100% chance there are other teams with recruits that may better suit Mack's precognitive abilities and athletic standards.
Hate to see a fan go, but I hate to see my own recruits bashed for no good reason even moreso.
Hopefully, young Mr. Baker will read and take the post from Mack to heart (0.01% chance) and trains like a mad man, bc proving pessimists wrong is the best!

Huh? You don't know how any player will pan out. Every player won't leave. You still recruit the way that you recruit. If you change your process, you will get burned.
