I am as pumped as anyone about this news, but why couldn’t they have gone ahead and done this a long time ago if the NIL isn’t a done deal yet? What’s the difference since we all know Vikesfan and the community people are going to be all over this anyway?Licensed teams, traditions, stadiums, conferences, etc just not players. I just read an article, I'll try and find it again. I would assume community edits with generic rosters. Which means it will be better than if EA had made them. Maybe they can solely focus on the gameplay and other features.
Wonder if the NCAA will be involved or if it’ll be generic teams and let the community edit the teams and players?
I’m not much of a Madden player, but I’ve heard a lot of the complaints about it. Hopefully they’ll keep College Football in its own unique niche. Like someone else said, they better not ruin dynasty by making it all about ultimate team or Online .Not sure, I think that's a question a lot of people have been asking for a while. Just happy it's coming back. Really wish 2K had the rights instead of EA though...awful company.
Ultimate team is their cash cow I can guarantee you most of their work will go into thatI’m not much of a Madden player, but I’ve heard a lot of the complaints about it. On 14 so many people were dedicated to it you had pretty much every team available from creating teams. I even downloaded Carson Newman and played with them, full unis and all. I’m sure it will be that way againI've heard mumerings it's only going to have 100 teams. Hopefully not true, but if it is I wonder which ones get the axe

To add with recruiting, the chance to flip players once committed. It’s always been once they’re committed it’s over with, this way you still have to recruit your committed player up until NSD, how cool would it be to flip a guy on NSD that you really wanted or lose a guy that been committed for a while? My ten things I want in Dynasty Mode other than the basics:
1) Multi Year Recruiting- I don’t need super in depth, just make it like College Hoops 2K8. You can make contact with guys and scout certain guys over the summer. Just able to contact sophomores and juniors and then find what they care about would be great. Invite guys to camps and develop better relationships with them.
2) Recruiting promises all year (and make them diverse)- I hated not being able to make promises till the final recruiting period. Make it available all year. Say you will get a guy 150 snaps his first year or promise him first team reps in spring practice. Things like that. And let me make that promise early.
3) Transfer Portal- Make it legitimate. Have it the same where you can convince guys to stay like NCAA 14. Have the transfer portal before recruiting. And give us 85 scholarships please!
4) Improved Coaching Carousel- Let me hire a full 10 man staff. Let me pick a new coach when a guy leaves. Give me money for staff like a pro game. Let me go to my AD if I need more money for staff.
5) Relationship with AD- I think this would be cool. Let me ask for more money for staff. Let me ask for more money for facilities. Let him set goals and work legitimate contract extensions.
6) Coaching “types”- For head coaches, coordinators and positions coaches have five different “type” of coaches or a badge system like NBA 2K (gold/silver/bronze). The types: Strategist, Recruiter, Developer, Chemist and Specialist.
7) Spring Practice/Summer Training- Like pro games, I think having an actual training screen where you can work players on specific things and have specific camps would be awesome.
8) Improved recruiting- Assign your staff to specific players to help recruit. The points system needs to be tweaked and I like the contact system better on the older NCAA games. If you get a hard commit early let him help to recruit another player. The longer the relationship (so if I make contact sophomore and continue that that should be beneficial compared to a new school making contact the guys senior year). Also have potential grades instead of just gem or bust.
9) Make players leaving for the draft realistic- I had a QB who won two heismans, threw for 10,000 yards and had over 100 TD’s in 3 years and was 99 overall...but didn’t consider leaving for the draft. Make this more realistic. You got a junior RB that had 2,000 yards and is like a 90 rating he needs to go pro.

Ah yes, that needs to be brought back. Also this might be wishful thinking but hopefully they have multiple recruiting sites (247, ESPN, or Rivals) and each site has their own rankings and maybe have a composite ranking and you have to pick a site you trust more on a specific prospect. There was a couple years, I think the 08-11 versions where they had soft commits.

With it being on next gen there’s no excuses for it not to be very in depth. Hopefully the devs take feedback from the community on what we would like to see implemented.Like how NBA 2K has their own draft rankings, that would be pretty cool actually. I’d love summer camps too and invite players and whatever players your invite you get a better read on their potential.
That’s my thought. That or something like they make recruiting so difficult or player improvement pathetically small, but they offer bonus recruiting points or player development for $$$.They’re going to fill this game with ultimate team pay to win garbage and dynasty will be a afterthought. It’s EA and they know their cash cow is ultimate team type stuff, not franchise.
