Random tidbits... takes from me playing ~3 weeks of an FSU dynasty and reading some online:
Points instead of phone calls. Will take a while to get the hang of, but it's nice not to have to call 25+ recruits each week (point allotment stays consistent week to week if you don't manually change it).
Proximity to home matters a lot. You can be locked out of a player's recruitment at any time for any reason, but one common example is... if they're from Cali and value proximity to home while your school is in Florida, you'll be locked out from the start (read: literally cannot target them).
Bonuses on visits:
QB + LT on a visit = bonus
HB + RG on a visit = bonus
DE + LB on a visit = bonus
WR + WR + WR on a visit = losing points
QB on a visit, throw for certain yardage = bonus
etc, etc for other positions
Coach Tree Skills are a new thing. Categories are head coach (think chris petersen), recruiting (think Urbs), OC, DC... For example, some coaches recognized as good recruiters have certain bonus skills, such as scouting instantly for far fewer points, or the 'closer' skill, allowing more points in the closing weeks of the season, etc. etc.
(
Jimbo Fisher, to nobody's surprise, has recruiting tree skills and zero head coach skills)
You earn these coach tree XP points from in game and recruiting performance. Scoring a touchdown is a small bonus. Winning a game is a small bonus. But things like breaking an ncaa/school record, win streaks, being ranked... start to build up the points a lot.
No more instacommits unless you have that skill unlocked (one coach does from the start: nicky sabes). This is big because once someone is committed, the points that you were putting toward him help out a boatload.
