NCAA 11 Official Tournament Bracket Thread

You ran it in the second half except on 3rd and longs, dude. Just stop.

The run caused more problems than anything dude. You know I know it did. I threw against one on one coverage a lot. DMo can beat Anderson every down. I'm confident in that matchup. Since Art Evans is alright on there I had him matched up against Dmo all game. You never adjusted guy at all. I could show a few things on the vid if I really wanted to. Like making sure you always were rolling to the left. These QBs aren't really good so I pressured them. You rushed three against a terrible line. Why do you think I pumped faked on you. There was no pressure. Come on dude.

he's just taking breaker boy's side because I have been trolling him the past two days and thinks a legitimate cheeser needs defending - although - the way in which he's defending him almost makes me believe my trolling was correct.

You're jumping in this thing a lot, when you obviously don't have a frame of reference to what we are talking about.

Other than the show blitz thing I been keeping up. You couldn't stop a running play he ran a lot of & you consider it cheese. We all saw this coming though.

this screams arcade - sorry dude. Why can't you get it through your skull that you play arcade style and not sim style? Multiple legitimate players have already pointed that out.

I rushed 5 most downs. Both outside LB's.

The problem I have is this. If I see something and you don't adjust to it then why should I not attack it? I was what you guys call "rocket catching" him to death. I ran the ball all game. I got the momentum early and kept it. When he threw the two picks to start the game it really hurt all of his chances at winning.

You just admitted to rocket catching. That may be all we needed to know.

It's fairly obvious when they time it - on multiple documented occasions - to wait till the QB is halfway on the ground.

I've NEVER had trouble online pitching it at an appropriate time. There has been times when legit players have accidentally pitched it late - but they apologized and it didn't happen again.. breakerboy did it atleast 4 times in the past 2 games.

Exactly. I've never (at least not that I can remember) had lag factor into my ability to time the pitch.

If a person can't stop 1 running play that's their fault. It might be lame but damn how can it be considered cheap to do some basic running play you can't stop.

Running same play = cheese and cheap. It really doesn't matter how simple or complex the play is. He's exploited the counter play and always bounced every run to the outside even with IP in the 3-3-5 and no guys to protect the middle. But that aspect of his play ranks fairly low on the cheese scale compared to his other things IP listed - especially the show blitz toggle.

I have & this years game isn't close to as bad as last years with the bs pitches.

Reread my original formal complaint. It wasn't even the 3rd biggest problem I had. The running play thing started in the late 3rd quarter, primarily when he was well ahead. To say I "couldn't stop it" is inaccurate. I was doing an average job at stopping it, he just had a lot more possession time than me because of two turnovers due to the showblitz toggle cheese, the benefit of getting the ball first in the 2nd half, and me trying to score as fast as possible giving him lots of time with the ball.

His version is I lost because he got 200 yards rushing. That isn't my version.

How did he exploit it? It can be stopped I promise you that. Maybe it was the 3-3-5 defense.

3-3-5 would counter outside runs. It gets more speed on the field and more guys on the edges. So no.

The fact that breakerboy continued to run to the outside and pick the same running play even though IP had 3 Dlinemen and a only a MLB in the middle shows he was intentionally exploiting a broken feature over and over.

So your gripe is mainly with the show blitz thing? I never even knew of it. If guys get crazy pressure I usually go to the gun & pass. I've probably been cheesed for a year & never knew.

If you notice, I actually posted the first time before even half time.

I saw that which surprised me. I want to know if I'm out. I wasn't cheesing by what I thought. The rocket catching thing R2P is talking about, I could've done but I always thought it was just a user catch. I've been doing user catches since 99 Madden(yes you could jump and catch the ball back then too). On that catch all I did was stick the WR's hands out. Nothing more. Simms on one option play a game, running a stretch play on a 3-3-5 defense, and moving my secondary around on some plays to hide my zones, isn't what we call "glitching". I didn't glitch you the guys I've played will tell you.

Everything can be stopped, even most cheese. Unfortunately, it is often with more cheese in the case of cheese.

As far as not stopping the same play over and over, like I said I did stop it sometimes. The problem is that calling the same play over and over isn't sim, not that he racked up 200 yards on me total.

All I know is duckman and mason will make the right decision tomorrow and I should be playing IP in the final four. It's pretty obvious what's right and BB has pretty much screwed himself over with a lot of what he's said here. That may be his downfall just as much as IP's complaints and the videos he showed.

Whatever man. If you call the wrong D in any formation a running play outside will work.

It isn't about the pressure, it's about the coverage.
