It's not about speed it's about guessing right & putting guys in position to stop it.

Why? I garuntee, UT runs a counter almost 10 times a game. If the guy is not going to switch out of a 3-3-5 then he deserves to get run over.

This whole line of conversation is a straw man. I got him to 3rd and long multiple times and he pump fake-passed out of it. It wasn't like he just ran all the way down the field ovr and over again. He had less than a hundred yards of rushing a half time.
You weren't getting pressure at all dude. Why did I have time to pump fake? UT's O-line isn't all that good. You were just sitting back early on in zone coverage.

lol - which is exactly what the 3-3-5 is doing.
No it's not. Get in a 4-3, if the guy comes out with 1 te and 2 rb and 2 wide receivers. It does tell you what persornel he runs. Staying in a 3-3-5 is just ignorant, when 5 lineman,1 te, and a fb are on the field. Numbers game man, this allows him to cover his 3 lineman, 2 linebackers, with just his lineman. Then his te picks up the other linebacker and were talking about a fullback and a runningback on db's. I like my chances being up against 2 uncovered db's

Pump faking is cheesing dude? Come on now.

UT does not run a counter 10 times a game and I promise you that. Also - UT runs twice as many plays as someone does in this game with 6 minute quarters.
And a 3-3-5 is weak to power running up the middle and good against outside runs - which is the only type of run BB was doing - so you are wrong on that account too.
Seriously you guys are the ones bi****** about someone running clock, but oh wait when one of our own gets beat we have to defend him until the world ends. Now you bring up possesion when your guy gets beat, but early in the tourney when somebody was running clock it was cheese. When I say counters, I mean plays where they pull a guard which really is not consider a true counter.
you obviously haven't played the game much - or atleast haven't played cheesers who exploit running to the outside every play.
The middle was WIDE open yet BB never ran to it. It would have been ignorant to stay in a 4-3 and have more useless guys sitting in the middle doing nothing, meanwhile BB busts it to the outside and those players are wasted.
This is a video game - not real life - I'll take uncovered dbs against TP all day long over staying a 4-3.
