NBA Playoffs Thread

Also **** that call, let's discuss how amazing GP was and how he is the best offense/defense combination at PG in NBA history.

Speaking of Chuck, what about him in today's NBA? I think with reps he could be a 35% 3 point shooter and then what the **** would the other team do about him? The only real problem with Chuck was that he struggled to guard the other team's 6' 11" back-to-the-basket PF.

He'd be PJ Tucker on D and off the ball. He's the 2nd best rebounder of the modern era and a nearly unstoppable force off the dribble. He would crush it today.

PJ Tucker can eat my D.

Also put her back in the position we had her stuffed in, and ****ing wipe her face off this time. Sick bastage

I think he had a longer prime than you could reasonably expect, TBH. Most NBA players start to slow down at 28 and he was 360 lbs doing 27 and 11 at the age of 30. Yao Ming was done at 30. The track record for the giants isn't that great. Being lazy may have been a good thing for his longevity, but you could be right and maybe he would have had a longer prime. Who knows.

Shaq was a freak on a scale that Yao never even moved the needle on, dude.

Yao was just a much less athletic, slightly taller version of ralph Sampson.

I'm going back to the conference finals, how can anyone say that the basketball that nearly got Houston and Boston to the finals is good basketball? I *****ed about the Spurs fundamental style of play being boring, but being boring and executing is a helluva lot better than 20 to 25 bad 3 point attempts that more often than not come at crucial points in the game. It's frustrating to sit through while waiting on James or Durant to go off

When at any point in these playoffs have we waited for LeBron to go off?

He has literslly done it every minute on the court from game 1 versus the Pacers.

Idk what the outcome will be but I think Sunday we get another epic performance. LeBron is absolutely pissed off and that’s when he is at his best. I think he comes guns blazin in the first half. Like 12-15 from the floor and 3-4 threes and just crazy jump shots.

Pissed of LeBron is GOAT. Durant will get wrecked trying to defend it, and it is likely to cause Draymond to pick up another technical.

Time proved him wrong, did it not? There were 6 other games that revealed the truth.

Out of 19 games, he wasn't great in 3 of them. Think about that for a second. Can anybody else claim to have 16 great performances in one playoff? Probably a handful, I'd guess. Your personal bias against him has you reaching to absurd levels. Just sit back and enjoy the greatness of Lebron. You may not ever see a player like this again.
