NBA Playoffs Thread

They have years and years of bad habits. it wouldn’t happen overnight

After a week everyone would want them to be more liberal

Reggie pushed off on his two biggest shots. Should they call it? Maybe they can start calling flagrant fouls for trash talking too offensive.

I’m all for the refs letting the small stuff slide, especially this deep in the playoffs. They just need to let it slide equally for both teams.

Speaking of enforcing rules, the NBA needs to take a look a moving screens. That irritates me much more than traveling

Yet the “Lebron isn’t clutch” narrative is not only alive but somehow thriving. It’s insane.

It's been a narrative since before he was a rookie. I remember in 2002, ESPN commentators were predicting that LeBron will not have the same "killer instict" as the all-time greats, like Jordan and Bird. It became a big debate over the entire year (something for PTI and Around the Horn to talk about when they couldn't think of anything else).

Since a lot of those analysts have huge egos, they don't want to admit that they were wrong, so they continue to entertain the narrative. And it makes good debate for filler time. With 24 hours sports talk, you have to have filler time. The last 15 years has always been about LeBron. He's that huge.
