Houston doesn't make sense to me. Their biggest problem was they didn't have depth and they'd have to let Ariza and Capela walk to get Lebron. Capela was a mismatch for GSW and one of the biggest reasons that series was close. CP3 is another year older.
Maybe if Houston sends Anderson and signs/trades Capela to Cavs and Lebron brings Thompson? I still don't think they can beat GSW, and I doubt Cavs go for that trade (maybe 3-team trade?).
I forgot about Andersons horrific contract. Would they have to let Capela walk? Im sure theyd be in the luxury tax but could they not wait to resign CP3 and Capela until Lebron is on the dotted line and then use bird rights to sign back CP3 and Capela? The rest of the roster would be thin but youd be banking on players taking pay cuts to ring chase
