I've watched 75% of Drummond's games this season. I've seen 25% of Hibbert's. I'm the biggest Drummond fan there is. He's not a better defender. He can't guard a PNR on a consistent, he still get lost, and he struggles against quicker post players that can face up. Not only that, Hibbert also a lower field goal percentage than Drummond against shots at the rim.

It's clear you don't get it.
It's a measure of per minute productivity. Putting it in 48 minute increments or 36 minute increments makes no practical difference.
If we looked at Paul George's per 48 minute numbers they would all just be 33% higher than what you see in the per 36 stats. If my point is that his productivity has stayed the same regardless of MPG, it doesn't matter if we look at per 36 or per 48.
Again, I get it. You just read into these stats way too much. Especially when you say D Jordan is in the MVP race.
It's the same in the baseball forum.
