Yeah, you just look at MVP differently than I do. With Hibbert, Indiana and Miami is a close call. IMO, if you swapped Drummond for Hibbert, Miami would have no chance.

Hibbert's not having a very good year, btw. Below average in rebounding, fouls, turnovers, and TS%.

In other words. He sucks.

While I don't agree with Huff and his MVP choices, I see where he's coming from. Guys like Drummand and Jordan can make an opposing team in to jump shooters. That value doesn't show up in stats.

I think Andre could be special and Jordan is just now realizing his potential. The way the game is played now, athletic bigs like them are like pure gold.

Kinda like how Hibbert slows down Miami? They have no problem with the Pistons.

Indiana plays great team defense. Hibbert being a massive sloth to clog the lane helps. Miami doesn't have a problem with Detroit because Detroit sucks.

Hibbert is one of the most overrated players in the NBA, ever.

Marc Gasol would like to know wtf y'all are talking about?

I love Marc's game. You'd like to see a guy his size dominate on the glass but if your playing stellar defense and being an offensive guru like he does, I suppose he can slack a bit on the boards.

Heat getting schooled again. Bosh and Wade sucking it up. There is no reason Birdman shouldn't get 25 minutes every night.

Lebron is shooting 57%. It's highly unlikely that on any given night he shoots just 30% (in fact I don't think he's done that this year). In baseball you can be a .350 hitter and be very likely to go 0-4 on any given night.

Baseball is a lot less consistent. You might have 3 home runs in one night and then only 3 home runs the entire next month. In basketball, a guy who averages 12 rebounds is going to get between 8 and 16 rebounds almost every night.

Thus, basketball stats are inherently more predictive.

I didn't say predictive. I said reliable for player evaluation because it's mainly an individual matchup.

Interestingly, the Wins Produced model said that Davis was the best rated player out of college since Tim Duncan.

not saying this just to be a dick but so did scouts paying close attention.

he's a lotta fun.

imagine if the lottery put New Orleans pick in the top 5 and Philly didn't get it haha
