Just different philosophies. The paint is the most important part of real estate on the floor, and Drummond and Jordan have dominated the paint on both ends of the court this year.

He's probably a better shot blocker, but I disagree that he is the better defender.
What about Drummond's dominance on the defensive glass? Hibbert isn't even close. Drummond gets 3 times as many steals, indicating he is quicker than Hibbert.
The fact that Hibbert is surrounded almost completely by quality players and Drummond is largely surrounded by scrubs has to play SOME factor in the rebounding totals.

We are talking about rebounding, not defense. Of course you think it's the same thing even when if isn't but of course but whatever. Drummond is the superior rebounder but while those steals are nice, his gambles cost his team also. If they had a failed gamble stat, he would lead the league at C.
