Walker is one of the most overrated players ever. Average defender, average rebounder, and was horribly inefficient scoring. Like all-time great, in that regard.

Why? Not saying I'm for it

Cause its perfect the way it is, why people feel the need to **** with a good thing is beyond me. If the league was struggling and you felt it needed a jolt fine, but the league is doing great. Baldy seems way to anxious to make his mark on the league. Teams overseas, race car uniforms, 4 pt shot. Dude needs stfu.

It's just kind of a dumb concept because if they moved it a similar distance behind the 3 pt line as the 3 pt line is from the basket, then the percentage of success on those shots would be so astronomically low that the only time it would come into play is on prayer shots at the end of quarters. The league doesn't need to be giving incentive for guys taking shots that would probably have a <5% conversion rate.

Why do you assume that? What if it was from 27 feet and sharpshooters could make 28%?

Not sure any of it matters. They said on PTI today that these were just suggestions that briefly got kicked around but the NBA never really have them serious consideration. Personally I like the scoring system the way it is.

So the 4 pt line would run into the out of bounds line right? Shouldn't be hard to defend.

I had a great idea...no more free throws. The guy that gets fouled goes one on one vs the guy that fouled him. He scores they get the points, he doesn't other teams ball. He only get one shot too. Boom F you science!

As my wife once said to a stranger wearing a Denver jersey, "**** the Nuggets!"

I love Manimal and Miller, but the rest can EAD.

In the best vs the worst the pacers turn it over 20 freakin times still beat the egregious Bucks.
If the pacers play like this against non crap teams in the playoffs they won't go far.

A tail of two New York teams.
It was all to easy as the heat steamrolled the freakin Knicks. Even with this underachieving pathetic embarrassment of a season the Knicks can still make the playoffs.
The nets were in a blowout but they were the ones that produced it steamrolling the nuggets in Denver.

Here's the good news on that front...

The earliest the Pacers will face a non-crap team is the ECF. The East is so pathetic this year that barring any injuries between now and then, both Indy and Miami will be able to sleepwalk through the first two rounds and advance easily.
