Ha I was just thinking about this thread. Did anyone expect Kiffin to sign the #1 player in the nation in his first recruiting season? Imagine how the staff will do with a full year to recruit.

My wife said she was watching the E! channel and that they ran a segment about how Britney was "insulted" that a comparison had been made between her and Kiffin. Concerning the "drama" that has surronded her compared to the recent Kiffin events, she pointed out the fact that 1) Her drama was drug induced and 2) She made a hit record first, then came the drama.

Never had a UT coach compared to a "Britney type" before.

Ok, I'm going to attempt to be the voice of reason here and I know people are going to say I'm just trying to be negative. However don't look at that way. I just want to try and get to the truth of the matter.

First of all, yes I am happy to have Bryce Brown. I'm thrilled as a matter of fact. But looking at our entire recruiting class from top to bottom, did we really address our immediate needs? Obviously the big name recruits at the skill positions are "sexier" and probably go a long way in ranking our recruiting class. However We already had a good stable of RB's, yet we signed 2 more in Oku and Brown. Our biggest needs are QB, OL, and DL and yet we failed to make any kind of impact in recruiting at any of these positions.

Lol at anyone crying about a Top 10 Recruiting clas spu together in 3.5 months flat. Pretty damn good.
