The way he denied was almost as comical as him trying to act like a tough guy towards Kailand during the season.

Apparently they’re filming a new season of the challenge right now. Allegedly it’s battle of the eras or something to that affect. Four teams, with cast members from seasons 0-10 on one team, 11-20 on the next, etc.

CT, Mark Long, Brad, Derrick Kosinski plus the females are on the 1-10 team. Of course anchor Annessa is there. 🙄

Impressive roster by resume except they’re all mid 40s at the youngest.

11-20 team is loaded on the female side with Laurel Stucky, Cara Maria, Emily Schromm. Mens team is weak with Just bananas as the only notable.

21-30 is Cory Wharton, Jordan, Devin, Leroy, Tony Raines, Tori Deal and others.

31-40 is Horacio, Crybaby Josh, Kaycee Clark, Kyland, Nurys, Michelle, Paul Caliofor, Theo and others.


Should be interesting but you have to figure there won’t be many headbanger eliminations. Seriously doubt they’d put a 45 year old vs a 25 year old in a hall brawl.

Speaking of…. This makes the second or third season in a row without messy fessy. I like that. But definitely hate they brought Josh back.

And not having Wes on this style of a season is a glaring omission.

Episode one was last night.

Kind of depressing how bad some of the old heads look. CT looks like he went back into dad bod mode. Mark is damned 52 years old but probably looks the best. I can’t take Brad serious with his beard.

Paulie is already on my nerves.

Agreed it was a good first episode but making me watch for an hour and an a half and not even seeing an elimination (or who gets voted it even) is rough.

Definitely interesting that they have to face their own teammates in an elimination. Gonna make for some drama.

Best part of this episode was how little camera time Josh got.

I know....it was a long episode for nothing accomplished and didn't even know Josh was there til the end! And nobody is buying Amanda's new attitude, laural is still a piece of work socially, and a lot of them are relying on their connections to slide through....like devin, aneesa, Avery. If era 4 can work together, they could pull off a win IMHO.

Rooting for the old heads the whole way. Would love for CT and Darrell to get another win.

Forgot to mention this earlier but this feels weird this historic class but no Wes.

Also, please eliminate Aneesa. Mid to late 40s and morbidly obese. She has no reason to still be going on these shows.

Aneesa has always been mid 40's and morbidly obese......😁😁. Don't think Wes will be back ever......looked that way the last time he was on.

Just watched the second episode. Idk if I ended the first episode too soon, or what…. But I never saw where they voted on who was going into elimination.

Long episode just full of 8 eliminations. Good show overall. Glad to see some of the people leave - especially Paulie. He just got wrecked. Hopefully it’ll humble him soon.

Not surprised Leroy left. For as big as he is, he’s always just underachieved at everything.

Glad Mark left. Dude is a beast and I’ve always liked him but the reality is he’s 52. That’s too old to be on this kind of a show.

Hated that Aneesa came back. But I doubt she lasts much longer.

I don’t understand Laurels and Bannamas strategy in trying to get rid of Cara. Your team is stronger with her.

It's really not. Cara is not a good team player in comps. She's good at lots of individual comps but there is a difference between putting your head down and running, and being the type who can push a pile of girls around (like Laurel) or the typ to out-strategize everybody on literally every game (Johnny). That is part of the problem with Cara...she's been so inexplicably bad at times, it was perceived to be sabotage.

And apparently, Paulie checked into a hospital 3 days later with a concussion

Latest episode was good.

Josh got humiliated and tried to force drama again. So happy with the lack of camera time he’s getting this season.

Tony made a dumb decision and paid the price.

Elimination was good and the plot twist for the winners was awesome.

Great line up for next elimination. Give me Nia vs Laurel in a headbanger. Laurel might get humbled real quick.

One of the everlasting truths of The Challenge is that Tony is going to do stupid stuff and self-sabotage. I've seen 30 seasons of The Challenge, but I'm no historian. I've forgotten 85% of what I've seen, and I can come up with 2 other all-time stupid moments from Tony right off the top of my head (betraying Bananas and getting caught cheating on the reunion show with his fiance/baby Momma in the audience).

Literally, everybody who talked to him told him he was making the wrong choice. He didn't trust Bananas because Bananas was rooting for Leroy...OK, dude, you are Leroy, except you are the Leroy who betrayed him....just because he's a notch above you doesn't mean Bananas doesn't have your best interest at heart. Tony has no ability to navigate the social aspect of the game.

And keeping Darrell + losing Tony was best case scenario. Great episode.

I’m like you. Been watching for decades - forget 90% of what I see. Then they’ll show flashbacks and I’ll be like “oh I remember that.”

I think Tony betraying bananas and Devin subsequently sending him home was such a gold moment in challenge history. But I’m also a known jb hater (although not as much anymore).

In fact…. Here are some of my favorite challenge moments all time. (Off the top of my head)

1. CT vs Bananas - the back pack moment
2. Laurel thinking she won that elimination vs the American Ninja lady whose name escapes me, only for the AN lady to figure out her mistake then race back up her pole and win.
3. Devin calling out JB then going home
4. Jordan defeating Josh in basically a tug of war, despite having one hand and being about 50lbs lighter.
5. CT and Wes winning… rivals 2 I think.
6. Darrell beating up crazy drunk Brad
7. Paulie calling out the tall UK guy the other night and getting utterly destroyed
8. CT trucking the one guy in that elimination that Adam threw.

I feel like there have been more great moments that escape me.

Bananas had Paulie on his pod and they sound like they have a pretty good understanding of why things broke down this season and they might work together in the future. Johnny and Paulie seem to actually like each other and Cara is the problem. Johnny hadn't talked to her since their last issue (I think it was the Laurel/Ninja thing) and she was even there when Johnny interviewed Paulie last time, and she ignored him....and the only other choice for Johnny was Yvieve, who literally had nobody in the house and had talked to Johnny, so he knew that was a number, whereas there is no trust with Cara.

Jordan is a total ass with a huge chip on his shoulder but he is damn near unstoppable. He and CT just have this mental shark mode than when it clicks they just go ice cold.

If Jordan had 2 full hands and was CT size I don’t think he would ever lose. His hand eye coordination is insane.

I’m a CT stan but it kills me how he basically looks like Anessa now. He looks so unhealthy. And having to be rescued and sent to the hospital after that fall in the water wasn’t a good look. Still rooting for him but damn dude.

Josh is a clown. The whole “I’m gonna prove what a man I am and step up” to “oh I might have to go against CT? I’m gonna play smart and not step up.” 🙄

Horacio lost that elimination when he decided to casually walk to put his last peg in. Dumb move. Props to Derrick though. Can’t ever doubt that guy.

Laurel is a mess. I don’t know what game she’s trying to play but I hope she gets humbled this season. There are some good female competitors to do so.

Thankful Anessa is gone. Please stop casting her. Same story every season - she shows up obese. Acts like she can’t believe why they’re voting her in. Gets hyped as an elimination queen. Cries when she loses.

It seemed like Jordan threw that trivia… but why? I didn’t get the strategy there.

Jordan threw it so he didn't have to make hard choices with power. He was almost certain Laurel would protect him

Also, trivia is one of my favorite things they do on this show...when it's general trivia. I do not GAF about Challenge trivia and neither do the contestants and we don't really get to laugh at them because they don't know Cara Maria was the first individual champ. I want to laugh at them because they don't know who Clinton's vice president was.

Been a CT stan ever since I started watching the Challenge but for the love of god please let him retire. It isn’t a big deal getting eliminated like that because that’s such a goofy elimination - not like a pole wrestle or hall brawl or anything. It’s just - he’s old, overweight, and just isn’t as interesting anymore. Mastered the whole art of laying low, which definitely played a key role in him getting a few championships under his belt, but it’s time to hang it up.

If you told me he wanted to come back in shape and focused, I’d foolishly jump back on the bandwagon. But showing up 40lbs overweight and just looking unhealthy af and you’re just tarnishing your legacy.


Laurel is insufferable. I don’t want any spoilers but I’d love to see her eliminated soon.

I’d also be in favor of bananas getting put into an elimination next week.

Lastly, I wish they somehow made it to where when they winners got to pick, the people couldn’t self nominate. I feel like it removed a lot of quality drama when they nominate themselves.
