'26 MS WR Tristen Keys (lsu commit)

No, but he is getting paid more and playing better in the league than Hyatt is. Also let’s just be honest with ourselves, Marvin Harrison Jr was the best receiver in college football that year, and it really wasn’t close. Their numbers were just too close together for Hyatt not to win it after putting up a historical game against Bama. Hyatt wasn’t the best receiver in college football that season though. Hell I remember seeing people on here entertain the idea that Squirrel would end up as the better receiver because he had more wiggle and Hyatt was a 1 trick pony for the most part 😂
What’s happening in the NFL is irrelevant. Hyatt was better than he was in college. That’s a fact.

A quick scroll suggests we are not getting Keys, and arguing over McConkey and rather if Smith is slow or not. Cool, carry on lol.
None of us know. Tristen is committed to LSU. They are the team to beat. Many National pundits think TN is the most likely to beat them, 'take the field.'

But if you read the article from 19th. Its all about development for the league. I think we havent answered all his questions.

Tamu and Miami are laying in the weeds.

AP said if it's not before the start of the season, it could be later in the year. It was already mentioned that Keys may go to some games this year. Kinda like the Hezekiah Harris recruitment, we may have to wait closer to ESD to see Keys flip.
He probably just wants to keep his 5* ranking before flipping

Keys could flip to us tomorrow and his recruitment will still go to national signing day. Personally, I'd much rather him flip in December so we don't have to spend the whole season fighting other teams off like LSU is having to do.

Our staff played the long game for multiple recruits last cycle and were very successful in flipping them. I think he wants to see what our passing game and development of young WR's looks like this season and that's totally fair on his part.

We check every box other than that (longest relationships, elite QB commit, NIL, etc.).

That's not coming from anyone of consequence. APs latest was Keys and Pope are talking regularly nothing yet as far as a timeline. And the troll trying to hijack a recruit's thread has no bearing on anything other than being annoying.

Gut feeling, Beer Gut feeling, or do you have inside information on this most likely occurrence
He rarely posts, old profile but he’s norm pretty close with his statements.

Based on some of the recent chatter, I wouldn’t be surprised if Keys announcement went down early next week. His season starts 8/30. If not it could be a long road.

I know, I’m more so commenting the ridiculousness that is Volnation sometimes.

Miami and Tamu aren’t exactly known for putting wr’s into the league either.
