You're both right 😆

🦬💩 dude he works with sounds like a jackass baby whiner to me.

That dude needs to figure it out and nut up

I’m in the concrete business and that guy would get ran off by my guys

Being a pussy doesn’t get the job done

Leave your problems at home
We don’t need that **** at work

As expected...

It's work, **** outside of there will bleed in. When my dad died that next few weeks at work was just numb, I was a dark cloud for sure. Didn't want to chat it up with anyone and if anyone had approached me with that ******** "bring more Pooh and less Eeyore energy" line I would have told them to go F themselves.

Nothing about expressing that someone hurt your feelings is pussy at all. I'd much rather a co-worker do that than throw a punch any day.

$500,000 per year???? That’s it?? Hahahaha oh my god South Carolina actually accepted terms that treat them the same as like a large Texas high school, maybe even worse. Wow.

The amount of coping that’s going on with “We get 15% of all sales of Nike Apparel!”. This deal is so bad!!!!
Even if they had a monster year and sold like, $50 million. They only pocket another $7.5 million. It’s still less than half of what we’re getting.

I wanna make fun of the Steamers, but something isn't right. That can't be a real deal, is it? There has to be more to it we're missing. What kind of clown would agree to that?

I'm as much of a "try not to kill work morale and culture" guy as the next guy, but I agree. We aren't robots.

I wouldn't personally lead with "pooh-bear" comments. I'll hope to have enough platform to ask: "Hey, from my side here you don't seem OK. You want to talk about it?" Knowing that the professional side of this will likely include, "If it's affecting you or your coworkers' work, let's talk about options here..." when needed.

If someone has an outlook that sees starting with ****-move comments as more acceptable than trying to process <whatever you don't know is going on> may need to reevaluate. In other words, why would you give yourself the right to be an ass in order for someone else to not have the right to a bad day/week/etc? (I'm not saying that the OP was ****-move. They may have enough relationship and platform for that to be the equivalent of "Hey, you OK?". It's hard to judge that kind of thing from outside.)

I think UA is decreasing its presence in CFB, so they didn’t match Nike’s offer. South Carolina didn’t have much of a choice

Very good point. As with most things here we only got one side. Hell sometimes "you hurt my feelings" is "why the hell did you embarrass me in front of the whole team?"

It isn't always what was said (the pooh comment was cringe, but for sure wouldn't hurt my feelings), but who was present or where you said it. If we're in our morning brief and you call me out with that **** in front of everyone...different feeling than pulling me aside to ask one on one. Context matters.

You'd think Adidas would be all over USCjr with their long and enduring history with the coolest aspects of hip hop culture. I mean...who wouldn't want to be associated with this?

That's Run DMAC flagship if I've ever seen it.

The USC-Nike deal is technically 10 years at $80 million. $70 million is retail allotment, and $5 million is cash. A little more in bonuses with team success. So, yes, it's $500,000 in cash over 10 years.

Our Adidas deal is still a little unclear, but consensus is that $5-6 million in retail per year, $5 million in NIL funds, and roughly $8-10 million in cash. It's a different stratosphere of a deal.
