I watch these Happy Madison trailers to see if I can handle Sandman's character, and I'm immediately in or out. Usually I'm out. His accent/voice was making me chuckle, so I'm in.

The Mortuary Collection on Shudder 8/10 very fun well done anthology horror movie. Had some of that 80's fantastical horror movie magic feel like Gremlins...Great stories and a few good scares.

A Simple Favor- 8.5/10

It's on Hulu. I vaguely remembered the previews from a couple years ago. I loved it. The blend of mystery, suspense, and humor was perfect. Blake Lively was awesome in her part(s) and that was probably Anna Kendrick's best role since Up in the Air.

Watched that in the theaters and enjoyed it. I’m surprised
with the lack of promotion and box office receipts for it.

Another Shudder Halloween-centric flick, Haunt, 8/10 very elaborate Haunted House that some college kids go to that winds up being a bit too real.
