Mizzou opens as 7 point favorite.

Yeah, I'm not sure where this "we can't handle mobile QBs" crap comes from, unless it's from the first game where the whole team was terrible.
2001 SECCG and 18 years of BVS. Most notably a few key Butchening games.

This year GAS as you mentioned, and people taking Kentuck's wildcat rushing stats out of context. PTSD, not their fault. Give it time. Winning cures all.

Defense isn't a concern to me. Hot Maurer/Guarantano/Shrout shows up, we win by 20. ""Off by 20" Guarantano/Maurer/Shrout shows up, we lose by 6 with a huge push by our defense.

People keep complaining about this. But I’m perfectly fine with that. In fact, it’s fair. They destroyed us last year and we started this season with two horrific losses. We definitely have some momentum right now but everybody else to see us as a 5-5 team (again with some really bad losses). We should be the underdog to every team that killed us last year. Hopefully we’ll have something to complain about next year at this time if we’re under dogs again.

MO-31/2, a ton of early money is showing up on this game-looks like (for once) those with a vocal opinion are actually stepping up with some money, this could be one of those strange (but does happen) situations where the line shifts-I wouldn't count on it, but with this much shifting early-It could happen.

You guys have to by lying about these lines. I couldn't believe Kentucky was favored.

Now, you are telling me that Missouri is favored by 7?

Missouri can't score 7 right now.
It's down to 4, but It looks like you should be putting up a big TN bet! Good luck.

Technically they're on a bowl ban.

I bet the NCAA is gonna wait until the week before conference championship games and just count the beans. If there's a P5 school that can fill their bowl tie-in then the bowl ban stands. If it's a scrub G5 team that doesn't create revenue as a replacement then the appeal is granted......

Or, watch the NCAA pull a rat move and grant their bowl ban appeal this Friday afternoon....... lol
/QUOTE]

I don't think we have to worry about a Friday announcement of bowl eligibility.

Dave Matter: Confused by Mizzou's NCAA case? Here are some answers

The NCAA typically gives the school a one-week’s notice before releasing its findings.

The NCAA may well announce they are going to release the findings, but won't release them for a week, typically. Of course, that might be the worst of all worlds, since it may be that the appeal is denied but the annoucement of findings gives Mizzou some hope that it succeeded.

Line immediately moved to 6, but good grief that’s a big line.
Man, I'm gonna take that. They had all day to throw and still couldn't score points. No way our defense gives up as much time as FL did. When TF are they gonna get the TN sportsbooks up and running so we can make some money on this BS?

Missouri defense is 10th in the country. Our offense is 109th.

Missouri by 13
Their offense is like 94th and our defense is 35th I think, so still pretty even. That coupled with the fact that our offense has been improving while their's has gotten worse.

The early lines aren't always the best time to lay your money down but e'ery now and then you have to bite. I had LSU and 6 1/2 at Bama a couple of weeks ago. LOL

In reality; based on perceived strengths/weaknesses, Mizzou should win this thing by 10. BUT, who wants it more is usually the determining factor . We shall see.

I am not as surprised by the line as some here. Mizzou looked pretty good against Florida.
