Put a sugar cube in spoon. pour absinthe over cube into rocks glass. take lighter and heat up sugar cube til it turns liquid and pour into cup. add ice and hold your breath and drink. It gives you wings, for real.

Once you get the spices and steak sauces on hand you only need the mater juice, v-8 and vodky. I only use the garnishes when I am hosting company. If you like Bloody Mary's then you'll never fix one another way. And it's ok to kick up the vodka and hot sauce.

I will give it a rip. How do you make a Alabamer slammer:)

I don't get it. I like tomato juice, I like vodka, but I hate bloody mary's. Maybe I need a better recipe. . .

To tell you the truth, I've never had one and don't even know what's in it. I'm more of a premium beer and tequila shot type of guy. But I do enjoy good wines and mixed drinks as well.

Most Bloody Mary mixes like Major Peters are terrible. The above is the only one I like and most of the people I have made it for have said it's the best one they've ever had.

Libby's Gold

50% Goldschlager

50% Juicy Juice

Pretty decent.

I'm all for a stiff Gin and Tonic though.

75% Tanqueray
25% tonic

Scotch guy myself.....not too many ways to mix it. However if I am feeling girly... I will mix up some Sweet tea and vodka and if my nipples are sticking out I might add some orange juice.

There are number of variations, but the essentials are Sloe Gin, Southern Comfort, and Amaretto, plus orange juice or triple sec. Some recipes add a little sweet and sour, some add grenadine, and some kick it up a notch with whiskey.
