At Penn State
430 yards passing 9 TD 1 INT
570 yards rushing 11 TD
Sacked 2 Times
178.3 QBR

At Missouri
1900 yards 11 TDs 9 INTS
280 yards rushing
SACKED 23 TIMES
124.3 QBR

This guy averaged 6.0 per carry at Penn State.
Seemed to be good decision maker throwing the ball.
Then you put him behind a line that can't block
23 SACKS .

Yeah, he seems like good guy that can be efficient throwing the ball and dangerous running the ball in our offense.

You all need to trust Heupel with this.

From everything I’ve read, it’s a weight problem, not a skills problem. He came to Knoxville at 178lbs, currently around 195lbs and they want him closer to 210lbs.

Ya'll do realize we are getting a third QB regardless of whether it is Sam Leavitt or another int throwing guy that we've never heard of. Entering the season with a QB room made up of 2 guys would be ridiculous.

I personally don't see why everyone has the hots for Leavitt. No doubt CJH would help him improve but with his penchant for turnovers and his current injury, it is difficult to believe he is they guy.

Taking Pribula at a discounted rate and spending that money on DT's and LB's will get us more wins, IMO. He can battle it out with the two currently on campus and let the best man win,.

Correct. We know little about GMac and for all that we know, Josh could be planning on him being QB1. However, you can’t go into a season with only two quarterbacks. If something freakish happens and two of them get hurt do you just run wildcat the rest of the year? Lol

To me it looks like Missou was trying to force him into being a thrower first, and he lost a lot of yardage by taking a bunch of sacks.

He has a good arm. I can see why Heupel is interested in him. Our offense works best when we have a QB that can run! This dude is pretty fast actually

Comparing our OLine with Mizzou...who's better?

Ours better be if Heupel takes this guy or its going to be a long, long season.
That’s my point. Those numbers tell you exactly what happened. Our offense needs the threat of the run game. Our run games works best when we have a QB that can run (Hooker, Nico)

And his arm is actually pretty decent.

I always said Brandon would be the QB in 2026 anyway right @NighthawkVol 😅??

But this Pribula kid has some juice. Very interested in seeing what Heupel can do with him if he does come here.

What is it with looking at these QBs coming off injuries.
First Leavitt and now Pribula

Also, that's a wide gap between those two.
Pribula was 6-1 when he got injured, but yikes something like 16 TDs to 10 or 12 INTs.

Budget tight

You don’t always get what you want. Toss him in there. The kid is cashing checks. Let’s see what he’s got….if we’re kicking the tires on Pribula. Sheesh.

I once saw us lose to terrible Kentucky with a WR at QB!

Not possible in immediate future and maybe never. He’s still a broom stick and maybe maxed out already.
