Milton named starter

Has anyone stopped to think that maybe Milton is putting the ball on the money, but the receivers aren’t making the plays? Just curious.
I’ve seen a few perfectly thrown balls, hit the wideouts in the hands, only to be dropped. Maybe the route running is off. Or, maybe Milton does have some serious accuracy issues? I don’t think you can lay the blame of our problems at one position is all.
GBO!!
Over throwing the receiver by 10+ yards is not my definition of putting it on the money. He has overthrown an open WR more than they have dropped it. Now our WR have to catch it no doubt, but he also can’t over throw them by 10 yards and expect them to catch it either!

Which he also maintained, if not somewhat improved in college:

Whereas Milton, is still Milton:

Everyone is silly worrying about who starts, etc. We aren't beating UF with EITHER one of them. Again... who cares? Hopefully, CJH will be able to recruit a QB that will be able to hit wide open receivers in the near future. Until then... just sit back and enjoy what you can. Little victories, friends... little victories!

Didn’t see that coming....blue font....tongue firmly in cheek. I will be impressed if he is still in the game at halftime. Florida might have some trouble with our Hooker.

At least our opponent will not be able to catch it either;)

We don't have elite talent anywhere, with the possible exception of Theo Jackson. All of our best players left and the transfers we got were not going to see the field where they were. USAB and Vandy are the only, teams I can see us beating right now. Milton runs like he is scared, Hooker turns the ball over, and Bailey just looks like a true freshman. He was not Heupel's guy from the start. That's why we have 2 transfer qb's.They may improve as the season goes on but 6 wins looks impossible at this point.

Hooker doesn't go into Swamp and win. We are a 5-6 win team with him at QB1 at best. If Milton gets right, we can win 8-9 game.
CJH is playing the long game, too. Hooker just has this year. Hopefully light comes on for Milton sooner than later.
8-9 games this year? Be careful man, weed is NOT legal in Tennessee yet

Bailey hasn't been given a fair shake to improve....has he practiced with the 1's at all? If you practice with the 3's you will not get better...in fact, you probably get worse. I hope HB sticks around.
Facepalm… if only this guy were coaching… we’d have the next Peyton on our hands

Well, he better learn not to hold the ball so long, bc I fear that he will have a huge and painful surprise when he’s greeted by SEC defenses…starting with FL.

He was listed as the starter last week and didn’t dress.

This right here. It's the exact same depth chart as last week (and probably the week before) with the exception of an additional OR under punt returner (Velus Jones). Cooper was listed as starting C in both spots and didn't dress either, so we likely won't know anything until closer to kickoff.
