Where is Jackson? Is he injured? I haven't heard anything about him being unavailable.
He had several overthrows saturday, I still don’t trust him as the starter. He just
does not respond well under true pressure in a game. JMO
Jim Plunket era wasn't it? That aside, I honestly think if Javelin Joe throws 14 TDs this weekend, we got people here who will still find fault with him. Probably even blame him for RBs who fumble the ball after 20yds runs..
Vandy has the 75th rushing D
Tennessee needs to lean on the run game. Three backs, along with Milton and Fant (if needed) Tennessee should be more than capable.
It would be a better plan if Tennessee had better running backs. All year with the exception of a couple of plays, these backs only get what the defense gives them. Sampson is the only one of the 3 backs with SEC speed but he is not strong enough to run through any tackles either.

With Bru possibly out, I could see Milton making Tillman more a weapon…funny as that would’ve sounded before the season. When Milton completes passes, the receiver tends to catch it in stride with a full head of steam. At the next level, that ups the YAC and their impact. Coming back to the ball and outfighting the DB for practical jump-balls not so much. All contingent on accuracy of course. That lost him the starter’s job last season along with totality decision making in the up-tempo. That clicks and this offense advances imo.Milton is lucky to have Squirrel White on this team. Almost impossible to overthrow him.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we can win with Joe at QB and our defense. 9-4.[/QUOTE
I respectfully disagree with that stinkin thinkin. We don't go from CFP shoe in, to a 3 game losing streak. Something isn't being said about what was going on in the locker room leading up to the SC game. Hooker was way off and guys were simply "unavailable"? Nah, whatever it is, it's gonna get dealt with promptly.
