EXCLUSIVE: Migrants have 'NO IDEA' what Title 42 is: Central Americans still head to the border despite restrictions and then plead with Gov. Abbott to be sent back to their home countries because they're being beaten and robbed in Mexico

Migrants waiting for months on end in Mexico to get into the U.S. are pleading for Texas Governor Greg Abbott to send them back to their home countries rather than expel them to Mexico when they illegally cross the border.

'We have a message for Governor Abbott,' a group of four female Honduran migrants living on the streets in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico told DailyMail.com. 'Send us back to Honduras.'

'Stop sending us back to Mexico,' pleaded the women in their mid-20s to mid-30s.

Several migrants indicated they are not tuned into U.S. policies, claiming that they were unaware of Title 42 and that they would be sent back to Mexico if they tried to cross into the U.S. and were denied release. Some are aware of the policies, but didn't think conditions in Mexico would be so dire.

Others said that they planned to remain in Mexico until Title 42 was lifted, but decided once the policy was no longer ending Monday that they would make a break for it and cross into the U.S., claiming they had waited long enough.

Emanuel Perez, 30, from Guatemala told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that Mexican citizens and authorities are abusive toward foreign migrants.

The migrant, who is also waiting in Piedras Negras, said that police Mexicans steal migrants' phones and money as they live on the streets and in migrant camps waiting for their chance to make a break for it and illegally flee over the border into the U.S.

Mexican President Calls for American Superstate, Open Borders

Mexico’s president is reviving calls for a continental superstate that would combine North American employers and South American employees – and sideline tens of millions of middle-class Americans.

“I will go in July to visit [President Joe Biden] at the White House and I want to discuss with him the issue of the integration of all America,” President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said at a press conference in Mexico’s presidential palace. He continued: “My position is that, just as how the European community was created … we have to do that in America.”

The same continent-wide superstate was pushed in 2001 by President G.W. Bush and Mexico’s then-president, Vicente Fox. Their unpopular “Any Willing Worker” plan would have allowed U.S. employers to easily import low-wage employees from central and south America. It was derailed following the 9/11 attack.

The policy would spike Wall Street and Fortune 500 profits by giving them floods of cheap foreign workers plus many new foreign consumers.

An organizer of the potentially largest-yet migrant caravan says the group headed to the United States grew to approximately 12,000. The group crossed the border from Guatemala to Mexico over the weekend and could grow to as many as 15,000, leaders estimate. Mexico is offering work visas to the members of the caravan.

Luis Villigran, the leader of the caravan making its way to the U.S. southern border, told Fox News their ranks have swelled to approximately 12,000 migrants. He added that the Government of Mexico is offering work visas, which will also allow free movement within the nation as the migrants head north.

Over the weekend, Mexican police and immigration officials allowed the then nearly 10,000-strong migrant caravan to cross the border from Guatemala into Tapachula, Mexico, Breitbart Texas reported. The group began moving northward without resistance from the Mexican authorities.

House Democrats to Hold ‘Field Hearing’ at Southern Border — On Topics Other than the Border

House Democrats will travel to Texas’s Rio Grande Valley next week to “conduct a series of field events across the community” and talk about the “implications of outdated infrastructure” instead of the crisis on the Southern Border, where border crossers are entering the country in an alarming rate.

Democrats on the U.S. House Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth, chaired by Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), will be led by embattled Texas Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX), will “conduct a series of field events across the community” to “hear directly from local leaders, community members, and experts about the challenges Deep South Texas.”

A Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter aircrew assisted in the rescue of a migrant man and woman who had been abandoned in the Big Bend region desert near Sierra Blanca. The aircrew responded to the area after hearing radio traffic regarding the lost migrants.

The Texas DPS aircrew joined in the search for a pair of migrants on Sunday, according to a tweet from Big Bend Sector Chief Patrol Agent Sean L. McGoffin. A male migrant on the ground caught the aircrew’s attention by waving a white shirt in the air. The crew observed a female migrant laying in a shaded area along a dry creek bed.

Scarborough Sums Up Why Dems Should Panic Over The Border Disaster With Just Five Words

Screen-Shot-2022-06-09-at-9.17.58-AM-e1654780741571.png

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough summed up Thursday morning why Democrats should be worried about the crisis at the border while admitting former President Donald Trump was right about the crisis.

Scarborough brought up the southern border while interviewing Axios Co-founder and CEO Jim Vandehei. Scarborough said the border “is something that the media doesn’t talk about that much” despite the dramatic increase in illegal immigration over the past two years.

“Democrats in Washington don’t like to talk about it. Democrats on Twitter don’t like to talk about it. So they just pretend it’s not there and that it doesn’t upset Americans. But crime, these illegal crossings at the border, I mean, it’s not like Donald Trump, who made stuff up when he came in 2016, illegal border crossings were at a 50-year-old after eight years of Barack Obama and Joe Biden,” Scarborough said. “This is real. The numbers keep spiking. More people keep coming. Joe Biden wants to get rid of a rule that provides some relief for border agents. But why is the White House so completely lost on this issue?”

Massachusetts to Allow illegal immigrants to apply for Driver’s Licenses

Massachusetts joins 16 other states and Washington D.C., which have similar laws that allow illegal immigrants to obtain a driver’s license

Illegal immigrants in Massachusetts will be able to obtain driver's licenses after state lawmakers voted Thursday to override a veto from Republican Gov. Charlie Baker on the legislation.

The state Senate voted 32-8 despite Baker's objection and a day after the House voted 119-36 on the same measure, dubbed the Work and Family Mobility Act. Both chambers are controlled by Democrats. The bill, H.4805, would allow those without legal status to apply for a driver's license if they can show proof of their identity and residency in Massachusetts.

Border Patrol agents in the five Texas-based sectors apprehended nearly 138,000 migrants in May, according to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This is up by approximately 10,000 over the previous month. If the migrants apprehended in the Texas-based sectors were put into a brand new city, it would be the 25th largest city in Texas by population — greater than Waco.

Pair of Supreme Court rulings make it more difficult to challenge immigration policies

The Supreme Court issued rulings in two related cases on Monday that will make it much harder for noncitizens to challenge U.S. immigration policies in court.

In one unanimous decision authored by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the court ruled the federal government may continue to detain certain immigrants in removal proceedings without offering a bond hearing after six months regardless of how long they've been held. The decision centered on the case Johnson v. Arteaga-Martinez, with Justice Stephen Breyer concurring in part and dissenting in part.

The pair of immigration-related decisions resulted in overturning rulings from the 9th Circuit Court in San Francisco and 3rd Circuit Court in Philadelphia, respectively.
