Texas-Mexico Border Chaos: At Least 40 Migrants found Dead in San Antonio inside 18-wheeler, reports say

Arrests and deportations of migrants have plummeted under the Biden administration as it faces pressure from states like Texas over immigration policy

At least 40 undocumented migrants were found dead in a tractor-trailer in San Antonio, Texas and more than a dozen were hospitalized, sources told Fox News.

Crews were at the 9600 block of Quintana Road where an 18-wheeler contained the migrants inside, Fox San Antonio reported. The discovery is part of what is believed to be a human smuggling operation.

Authorities have not confirmed the number of dead but Rep. Tony Gonzales, a Republican who represents Texas, tweeted that 42 people died.

"Today in San Antonio it was 102 degrees. Imagine being abandoned inside an 18-wheeler left to die - 42 people died today - will @AliMayorkas even mention their names?" he wrote.

Migrant Drowns Crossing Rio Grande where Texas soldier drowned in prior rescue attempt

A migrant from Nicaragua drowned while trying to cross the Rio Grande river on Sunday in the same area where Texas National Guard member Bishop Evans drowned last month.

"A 38 yr-old Nicaraguan man drowned while trying to cross the Rio Grande River into Eagle Pass Texas," Fox News correspondent Bryan Llenas reported on Twitter, accompanied by video of the scene. "Video show his friend holds onto a pillar. National Guard was there."

The man was identified as Nelson by Llenas, who spoke to a friend who accompanied Nelson as they tried to make their way across the Rio Grande.

Biden Greenlights Colorado Giving Health Insurance to Illegal Aliens

President Joe Biden’s federal agencies have greenlit a plan by Colorado officials to provide subsidized health insurance to the state’s growing illegal alien population.

Late last week, Biden’s Health and Human Services (HHS) and Treasury Department approved an application by Colorado officials to provide subsidized health insurance to illegal aliens in the state.

The subsidized health insurance will be provided via the Colorado Option plan, as described in the state’s application to Biden’s agencies:

The Colorado Option will operate in tandem with the reinsurance program authorized under the State’s current waiver. Pass-through savings derived from the waiver will support State-based subsidies for health insurance affordability supporting Coloradans that may find out-of-pocket costs unaffordable or that are not eligible for premium tax credits under the ACA, including those Coloradans that are not eligible due to immigration and documentation status, or lack thereof. [Emphasis added]

Additionally, persons who are not eligible to purchase coverage on the exchange due to immigration status will be able to purchase coverage through the Colorado Public Benefit Corporation, a subsidiary of Connect for Health Colorado. [Emphasis added]​

The move comes after Gov. Jared Polis (D) signed legislation this year that will make pregnant illegal aliens and their children eligible for Medicaid beginning in 2025. That plan will cost taxpayers nearly $30 million a year, with the federal government paying most of the costs.

Agents Rescue Migrant with Severe Leg Injury near Border in Arizona

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents rescued a migrant with a severe leg injury in southeastern Arizona. This is one of a record number of migrant rescues carried out by Border Patrol agents along the entire southwest border with Mexico.

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin tweeted a short video showing Border Patrol agents from the Brian A. Terry Station loading an injured migrant into an air-rescue helicopter. The chief identified the migrant as a Mexican national.

Border Patrol agents have already set a record this year for migrant rescues, according to a CBP report reviewed by Breitbart Texas. From the beginning of the current fiscal year, which began on October 1, 2021, through the end of May, Border Patrol agents rescued 14,278 migrants. With four months to go in Fiscal Year 22, migrant rescues have already exceed those of the entire FY21’s record-setting 12,833 rescues — an 11 percent increase so far.

Innocent Trucker whose License Plate was Stolen by Human Smugglers who left 50 to Die is being targeted by people who wrongly believe he is responsible for the tragedy

The family of a Texas man said he was wrongfully identified as the owner of the truck used by human smugglers who left 50 migrants to die inside the vehicle in 103 degree weather along the U.S.-Mexico border.

A San Antonio Fire Department official said they found 'stacks of bodies' and no signs of water in the truck, which was discovered on Monday next to railroad tracks in the city's southern outskirts, close to Interstate 35 which runs to the border.

The truck's license plate and registration linked the vehicle to an Alamo man, but his son-in-law, Isaac Limon, said the information was stolen and that the real truck belonging to his family was out hauling grain in another part of Texas.

'It was a perfect setup,' Limon told the Washington Post. 'The truck is here. I'm looking at it right now.

Limon said his father-in-law was shaken up by the incident because people now falsely believe his vehicle was involved in the horrible tragedy that left 50 dead

Limon told the Post that the plates and registration identified in the tragedy belong to his father-in-law's Volvo, and was outraged over Telemundo's reporting that suggested his truck was used in the crime.

Facebook Mum on Dead Migrants After Greenlighting Solicitation of Human Trafficking

Social media platform permits migrants to solicit dangerous smuggling services

Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, has not revised its policy allowing the solicitation of human smuggling after one of the worst mass casualty events of migrants in U.S. history.

In what the mayor of San Antonio called a "horrific human tragedy," 51 migrants were found dead in a semi-truck on the side of a road hundreds of miles from the southern border on Monday evening. Local authorities said the surviving victims—at least four of whom are children—suffered from heat stroke and exhaustion.

Yet the social media company Meta—which owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp—remains silent. In February, Meta announced in an internal memo it would allow the solicitation of human smugglers on its platforms out of fears that banning the practice would result in harm against those who "seek safety or exercise their human rights."

Daily Caller Reporter Discovers Human Smuggling Route Between Mexico And Arizona

A human smuggling route where migrants are illegally smuggled into the U.S. was discovered between Mexico and Arizona, Daily Caller field reporter Jorge Ventura reported.


A guide who works with cartels took Ventura and the Daily Caller video crew to the area where migrants are illegally smuggled across the U.S.-Mexico border. A line of migrants from various countries climbed a rocky hill en route to Yuma, Arizona.

Hundreds of migrants from India, Venezuela, Cuba and various other countries ran alongside the border wall entering the U.S. The huge number of migrants has overwhelmed Border Patrol, Ventura said.

“We have hundreds of migrants just running in,” Ventura said. “In Yuma, Arizona, hundreds and hundreds of migrants from countries like India, Cuba, Venezuela, and more cross illegally in the middle of the night, overwhelming Border Patrol agents in this sector.”

Ventura previously reported that Mexican officials have not complied with agreements made with Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to enhance security on their side of the border to decrease the illegal flow of migration into the U.S. The Daily Caller field reporter asked what actions Abbott will take due to the officials’ inaction.

Border Patrol in Rio Grande Valley Nab 2 Sex Offenders, 9 MS-13 Gang Members

Border Patrol agents in Rio Grande Valley have recently caught two sex offenders and nine MS-13 gang members in the last week -- the latest haul of criminals to be caught by agents as they try to get into the country.

Agents on Friday found a migrant with a prior conviction of sexual assault of a victim under-12, for which he was sentenced to nine-years in prison in Florida. He was apprehended in a group of eight migrants near Brownsville, Texas.

Then on Sunday, agents in McAllen picked up to MS-13 gang members -- including one who had previously been arrested and sentenced for causing bodily injury to a family member.

MS-13 or Mara Salvatrucha, was set up in Los Angeles by Central American immigrants and has expanded across the continent – particularly in Northern Triangle countries like El Salvador and Guatemala.

It is known for its particularly horrific and gruesome crimes, and its motto is said to be "mata, viola, controla" – which means "kill, rape, control."

Exclusive — Guatemalan President: Kamala Harris Is Missing in Action on Migration Crisis; ‘We Need Greater Communication’

Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei has not spoken to U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris since January and says “greater communication” is needed between Guatemala and the United States to address the countries’ ongoing migration crisis.

Giammattei told Breitbart News during a wide-ranging interview in Washington, DC, on Tuesday that the last communication he had with Harris — a phone call in January — was not focused on migration.

“She told me she didn’t want me to appoint my attorney general. We didn’t talk about human trafficking. That was the only time that I spoke to her since she went to Guatemala, and the topic was not immigration,” Giammattei said.

U.S. President Joe Biden assigned Harris to lead efforts to address the “root causes” of migration in March 2021 in response to surging numbers of migrants illegally entering the U.S. through Mexico.

Harris said at a CEO Summit in June, well over one year after Biden appointed her as border czar, that the administration was “making progress” on its “long-term efforts” to address “root causes” of migration. Harris’s claim of progress appears to conflict with the sheer numbers of illegal migrants border officials continue to apprehend on a monthly basis, however.

Border officials reported encountering more than 200,000 migrants crossing the border illegally for the past three consecutive months, sky-high numbers not seen in at least two decades. The overall number of illegal migrant encounters under Biden continues to far outpace numbers seen under the Trump administration.

Honduran Migrants Found Crammed Into Tool Boxes in El Paso, Texas

The migrants were found at the Ysleta Station checkpoint in Texas.

Three Honduran men crossed the US border into Texas jammed into two tool boxes on the back of a pick-up truck.

The three migrants were discovered by Border Patrol agents at the Ysleta Station checkpoint in El Paso, Texas, on Thursday, after the black Chevrolet Silverado transporting them was pulled over for a routine check, according a press release from El Paso Sector US Border Patrol.

The discovery came just days after authorities found an abandoned tractor trailer in San Antonio, stuffed with the bodies of 53 migrants who died after temperatures in the city topped 103 degrees Monday, in the deadliest smuggling incident in US history.

Photos taken by border agents showed the three men, dressed in t-shirts and jeans, crammed into the large toolboxes. The men were found by a K-9 during the routine border check. The unidentified driver, a US citizen, admitted to carrying “a personal amount of marijuana” and a handgun. When asked about the tool boxes, he said he did not have the keys to unlock them, according to the report.

After Border Patrol agents managed to open the tool boxes and found the men, they arrested the driver, who is in custody, charged with conspiracy to transport.

It’s not clear what happened to the migrants after they were discovered.

Large Migrant Groups Overwhelm Two Busiest Border Sectors in Texas

Border Patrol agents in the nation’s two busiest sectors continue to be overwhelmed by large migrant groups crossing from Mexico into South Texas. Human smugglers utilize the tactic of moving large groups of migrants across the border to tie up Border Patrol resources.

In the Rio Grande Valley Sector, agents encountered three large groups over the Independence Day weekend. The groups totaled 403 migrants, including 195 family units, 52 unaccompanied minors, and 156 single adults, according to information obtained from Border Patrol officials.

Officials identified the migrants in these three groups as citizens of Cuba and countries from Central and South America.

In the five days leading up to the holiday weekend, RGV agents encountered eight more large groups totaling nearly 1,200 migrants. The groups crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico into Hidalgo and Starr counties.
