Good grief: The country is full of good, youngish coaches from, say, age 35 to 45--and Jones picks a old guy who has not coached at all for a couple of years, hasn't coached an offense for several years; has never coordinated a spread/read-option offense? Jones has lost his mind if he hires this guy. We have to run the spread--that is the offense that best suits Dobbs, who is a great runner. Hiding my eyes...

He's old. They ASSume he couldn't get a job coaching which they have no idea of the validity of that argument. I'm sure the guy could've gotten a job, maybe he wanted a break from coaching for a while. Live at home, family, what have you. Discredit his success and NFL experience bc it happened too long ago for them.

Easy...Is a Pro Style guy, not read option, and hasn't been an OC in 8 years. Called being out of touch, out of practice and a bad fit for the personnel butch and co has recruited for 2 years
