Then again, I’m talking to people on here everyday that supports free sh!t but doesn’t support free speech.

Give me an example of something Lieberman said and I'll be happy to agree/disagree/discuss as the case may be.

I've disagreed with most of his policies over the years (he is a war hawk, no way around that), but I gained a lot of respect for him when he called out that woman during the debate with Obama.
My grandad died of brain cancer, it isn't a pleasant way to pass. I hope he retains some lucidity as he declines. My grandad could barely function and had no clue who he or any of us were.

And I distinctly remember that clip on the Daily Show. They lampooned McCain for saying he’s not a Muslim, he’s a good man. As if you can’t be both.

There are also those of us that neither like or hate the dude, had serious issues with his policies, and wish he was term-limited in Congress decades ago like all the rest.

Good grief, I swear sometimes I think VN is just a high school pretending to be a message board. McCain is facing death. He has family and many people who like and love him. Whether you agree or disagree with what he has done should be irrelevant. Whether you like or dislike him should be irrelevant. Wish the man a painless and easy passing. Wish his family prayers, positive energy or whatever your choice.

Leave Obama, Trump or any other BS politics out of it for crying out loud.

The man is dying. He's lived life on his terms. He's done things I've supported, and he's done things I've opposed. Who are any of us to pass judgement on him? If you believe in God, then you believe he will face his maker and be judged. If you don't believe in God, then he'll still be dead, gone from this earth. I hope he dies in peace, and I hope his family can take solace in his long life and many experiences and find peace and healing themselves. I just don't see the need to tear down a man on his deathbed.
