Some of you need help. The man is dying and has probably done more for his country than most of you put together. Just because he doesn’t support your dear leader doesn’t make him a bad person.

You're right. All of the other stuff makes him a bad person.

He is a war monger / profiteer.

Arizona governor Anthony Ducey, a Republican, will appoint a U.S. Senator to take John McCain's seat in the senate.

On January 15,2015, governor Ducey signed an education bill requiring high school students to pass the U.S. citizenship test in order to graduate, making Arizona the first state to require this.

that was about 2 weeks before Trump was nominated, then it was all "McCann is the bestest Republican ever"

He gained a lot of respect from Dems and other non-reactionary people when he shut that lady down about Obama being a Secret Muslim Agent. He was widely decried by the GOP as a traitor for having dared go against that party's lies about him.

The irony is that the GOP then nominated and now defend an actual Russian agent as POTUS.

The Leftists fell in love with McCain for running a Sham presidential campaign against Obama.

Well, this thread is interesting. All the resident libs are taking about what a great man he is, while the conservatives are calling bs.

The right hates him at the moment because he has the temerity to say publicly what they all know to be the case and say amongst themselves, privately: Trump is a cheap con artist.

I’d go easy on these statements. You are making a lot of assumptions about the military personnel on this forum.
You have no idea what they may have seen or done for this country.

I have never liked McCain because he is an OPEN BORDERS senator, and because he ran a Sham campaign for president against Obama.

I knew you weren’t a lawyer. A lawyer doesn’t slander someone without irrefutable proof. (Russian agent)

I've seen humans at the end of the run more times than id like to count. Regrets, should have, wanted to... It all comes out.
He's about to meet the only judge that matters. Glioblastoma is not a kind death nor one I would wish on anyone. So for him and his families sake I hope he's comfortable.

More like the people who have some sense of decency are speaking up for an imperfect yet respect deserving patriot, while others, who have some apparent incessant need to take a dump on anything remotely opposed to POTUS Trump, are exsposing their essential nature.

Still a Patriot

You do realize that a slanderous statement must be false, right? Otherwise it's not slander.

No, I despised the man at least a decade prior to that.

When I dug up WTN Orange Blood's post from 2013 yesterday, I started looking through some of mine from that year, as well.

I was wildly popular with conservatives on this board back then - I got about ten likes a post, most from people who have called me every name under the sun since Trump has been elected.

It's amazing. If you are consistent with your ethics, and if you place limits on the behavior you're willing to tolerate, you hold up a mirror nobody wants to look into...and you get a revolving door of friends/allies.

I admire McCain for his willingness to be unpopular and lose friends in the GOP...to vocalize his belief that Trump was unfit to hold our country's highest office.

I think he fought one of our country's most important and least heralded battles (campaign finance reform)...and I think we are losing the last of our true statesmen, someone who could communicate across party lines.

Obama will deliver his eulogy. A guy who beat him in what's probably his biggest life disappointment. And Trump is not allowed to attend. Let that sink in. RINO, blah blah, traitor, whaa whaa, war monger, boo hoo, corrupt, yada yada, self-serving. Did I miss any?
