I have not been the most frequent poster on this board. However, I feel I want to let out my words of retrospection I have been dwelling on. I believe in UT this saturday. I actually think we will pull the upset. There is just something about Matt Simms wanting this win more than people think. Da'Rick is capable as always, as our Defense is playing alot better than what people think, per statistics. I was impressed by Dooley's post practice presser in competing and I think he is doing something underneath all this communal negativity about last week. He knows how important this game is and believes anything is possible on any given saturday. Let's just wait and see how this one goes, remember 2005 LSU? remember 2010 LSU? We can do this. I think we will. GO VOLS.

OP, i hope you are correct. Would really like to see the upset. One thing im concerned about is if it did happen, would the team be emotionally drained after a win like that and not give Bama a game? If we can beat LSU, we can beat Bama or at least keep it close if we keep our heads on straight.

Really? Cause it would be fine with me if we got killed in one of these games and won the other.

EDIT: and I dont even care which one.

Call me crazy, but I think this is the weekend that the O line has heard enough, and they finally start to blow off the ball and lay the lumber to the D line. Surely with all the media and fans continuely questioning them and why they don't know how to run block, it has to be lighting a fire underneath them. I may be completely wrong, but Dooley was pretty wired up and on edge at today's presser. Looked like he had been blowing a fuse during practice. I will go WAY OUT on a limb and say that we rush for at least 100 yards this week. I don't know if that equates to a win or not...I really hope so. Either way I will continue showing my support for the coaching staff and the kids. GO VOLS!

I love all the excuses from everyone. Can't do this, won't do that...gotta have 150+ rushing yards. BELIEVE! If you believe, the Vols can achieve! Tired of some "fans" crying and making excuses as to why we wont win any damn game or saying we wont win. On any given day Tennessee can beat ANYONE on our schedule! Dooley & crew will get upset #1 this Saturday. I'll be the guy in the front row telling I told ya so!

Man, you are going to be upset if you really believe this. Did you even watch the LSU and Florida game? Without Bray and Hunter we will have a tremendous decrease in offensive production. We will probably have negative rushing yards Saturday as well. Simms may have the heart of champion but he will be running for his life Saturday. Ill be impressed if we put up 3 points against LSU. LSU-48 Tenn-3 is my prediction as of right now unless our play calling and running game improves drastically. Strap in boys, we may not even go bowling this year because it is about to get ugly.

Bama vs UT- 42-0
SC vs UT- 28-13
MTSU vs UT- 13-21
Arky vs UT- 45-13
Vandy vs UT-17-14, thats right, Vandy wins
Kentucky vs UT- 21-28

Overall= 5-7 and Dooley better get this ship headed in the right direction or he will be gone the next year.

Realistically we don't have any chance. But stranger stuff has happened. I just want Simms and the rest of the players to be able to walk off the field Saturday at this point.

I was waiting for the first "I got a feeling" posts about us beating LSU.

And come Saturday night I'm sure you'll be here to tell us how wrong you were.
